If the hole is the same as Enies Lobbies, then would that mean that Enies Lobbies hole was caused by an ancient weapon back in the Void Century?
HOLY SHIT WAIT A MINUTE! What if the Enies Lobby hole caused the world to basically flood over and bring about the age of islands?! What if before the hole there were genuine continents and large landmasses like in our world?!

That does remind me though, and brings into question... is the constant light above enies lobby also a result of the mother flame/OG weapon it's based off of? It could still be a fruit at play for that part specifically.
