Uzui could basically handle Gyutaro himself
Sure, but they need to behead both Daki and Gyutaro at the same time, and Gyutaro just blocks/dodges. See my previous argument (To put it in a summary: Obanai and Tengen die to Poison)Obanai is much stronger than Uzui, seeing how he's comparable to Mitsuri who's stronger than Swordsmith Village arc Base Tanjiro, who's comparable to his Marked form in the previous arc, who could behead Gyutaro
Tengen was handling him pretty well for a guy who's injured poisoned fatigued and busy protecting 3 other stooges from his opponent and his opponent's sister
Oh yea he's handling him alright (Joking)
To be serious, that is wrong. Tengen was not handling Gyutaro. Tengen literally gets cut right here. He was on the back foot for the entire fight up until he could develop and actually use his Musical Score, which to remind, that he needed to play dead to develop. The image above him is literally him playing dead.
Obanai = Mitsuri > Emotion Clones = Swordsmith Village Arc Base Tanjiro > Entertainment District Arc Demon Mark Tanjiro > Gyutaro = Injured Musical Score Uzui > Uzui >>>>>>> DakiSure, but they need to behead both Daki and Gyutaro at the same time, and Gyutaro just blocks/dodges. See my previous argument (To put it in a summary: Obanai and Tengen die to Poison)
Pretty sure both Uzui and Obanai are a little bit more skilled than Gyutaro, Uzui cuz that's the only thing that kept him in the fight, and Obanai just from scaling to him and the other Hashira. Demon Slayer doesn't have that many relevant skill feats outside of creating/learning Breathing StylesI hate that scaling chain (Half-joking. I don't like it but I don't hate it) Fair enough though. Is Obanai more skilled than Gyutaro?
the problem with this is that Obanai alone is already much stronger and faster than a character (Marked Tanjiro) who could behead Gyutaro already. Considering how much trouble Uzui was giving Gyutaro already, adding Obanai means that Gyutaro just gets beheaded easierGyutaro's main win condition here is to tire them out and kill them with Poison Manipulation (That should at least be Layered, because it was giving Tengen, someone who has a higher Poison tolerance than all other Hashira, got affected by it nigh-instantly) This is Obanai's main weaknesses, because poison travels faster in his short body (NO WAY! IT'S ALMOST LIKE DEMON SLAYER FANS HAVE SEEN THE MANGA)
I really don't think that Tengen was giving Gyutaro much trouble. I'm going to go back and watch the episode because I swear that during the entire fight, Tengen was on the backfoot up until he could do Musical Score.Considering how much trouble Uzui was giving Gyutaro already, adding Obanai means that Gyutaro just gets beheaded easier
dw I gotchu, I'm questioning it now myselfDidn't watch the episode
Gyutaro was going to overwhelm Tengen with his Homing Attack had Tanjiro not been consistently stepping in to help Tengen by deflecting the attack. Musical Score Tengen was merely said to allow Tengen to hold up against Gyutaro with one hand, but not beat him. He was also going to lose first had Tanjiro not stepped in, either. If, and when Tengen and/or Obanai is about to behead Gyutaro, Gyutaro blocks, fuses their weapons to his, and blows up the immediate area around them. Tengen was implied to have either been one shot by this or lost to Gyutaro after they jumped off the building. Pick your poison. Once Gyutaro turns his attention to Obanai, unless Obanai can stall for the same amount of time Tanjiro did (which was only possible because Gyutaro and Daki threw the win), he's pretty much getting cut to pieces. Daki still plays a factor because her ribbons can block and stop people who were beheading her casually. If Gyutaro is about to genuinely get beheaded, Daki just...stops it. Or gives Gyutaro a break by blocking off Obanai or Tengen.Gyutaro wasn't able to completely overwhelm Tengen during his first encounter with him, much less Musical Score Tengen, so adding Obanai, someone stronger than both of them, isn't going to do him any favors.
This is true, I'm not arguing against thatGyutaro was going to overwhelm Tengen with his Homing Attack had Tanjiro not been consistently stepping in to help Tengen by deflecting the attack.
Musical Score Tengen did better against a much more enraged Gyutaro compared to his non-Musical Score Self + Tanjiro despite losing a hand + being much more poisoned. Yes, he wouldn't win, but we're still forgetting that Obanai is there and is much more useful than TanjiroMusical Score Tengen was merely said to allow Tengen to hold up against Gyutaro with one hand, but not beat him. He was also going to lose first had Tanjiro not stepped in, either.
Tengen blocked that same attack with Fourth Form minutes earlier by himself. He was only hit by it since he was forced to pull Gyutaro away from Tanjiro and Hinatsuru, and also Gyutaro was biting down on his swords and preventing him from using themGyutaro blocks, fuses their weapons to his, and blows up the immediate area around them. Tengen was implied to have either been one shot by this or lost to Gyutaro after they jumped off the building. Pick your poison.
That situation only happened because Tanjiro couldn't actually do anything against Gyutaro. Uzui was clearly shown to be carrying most of the weight in that battle, while Tanjiro had to do small things like block 1 blood slash and pin down Daki's Belts. Obanai is more than strong enough to actually participate and do damage. Uzui while poisoned was already strong enough to fight against Gyutaro + Daki's belts by himself at least decently, and adding someone on his level simultaneously would make it much easier.Once Gyutaro turns his attention to Obanai, unless Obanai can stall for the same amount of time Tanjiro did (which was only possible because Gyutaro and Daki threw the win), he's pretty much getting cut to pieces.
No, not really. Read my previous pointDaki still plays a factor because her ribbons can block and stop people who were beheading her casually. If Gyutaro is about to genuinely get beheaded, Daki just...stops it. Or gives Gyutaro a break by blocking off Obanai or Tengen.
