I think that trap master stuff is a thing that fits into a sub category of Preparation, but I don't have enough experience to write it in a page without messing with the stuff with my bad way to write
Apologies for kinda necroing this thread but this was left without a draft being proposed, and Sparkive's already had one (kind of) proposed in their sandbox, you'd have just to shorten it a bit.
Something like "Character can create and manipulate traps of one or more types with great skill. Generally manufactured before combat or during combat after hiding momentarily in the middle of combat to be able to manufacture them."
@SamanPatou Is that good enough?

I think the current consensus was to make it a paragraph to put on the "preparation" page:I would change the name, leaving only "Traps" or "Trap Proficiency", following the same reasons for which the Martial Arts page isn't called "Martial Arts Mastery" and the proposals on the on-going revision of Stealth Mastery
I find this bit a little pointless, since it covers only a few of the many instances where traps are either particularly useful or uneffective. Also, rage powers doesn't necessarily mean the user goes berserk: This ability is very effective against characters who are not very intelligent or who get carried away a lot by their emotions or instincts (at a lower level, since the Instinctive Reaction ability can constrict it) such as those with the ability Berseck Mode or Rage power.
The page should make mention of characters who create traps via superpowers. Currently, the page seemingly only covers those who make them via preparation or equipment.
For example, we have Goku making a mine field with ki, Granolah detonating a bunch of debris (a few pages after the beginning of the chapter), several wizards across fiction creating grass knots, brambles and more, Pokémon moves such as Stealth Rock, Toxic Spikes, ten thousand of stands from Jojo which focus on traps and deceive etc..
It could also mention that traps can also be physical attacks or part of someone's combat ingenuity, see Kakashi's Headhunter Jutsu, Buggy faking his death to stab Zoro or hidden weapons meant to active or be unsheathed the moment the opponent is close enough, and so on with more cases.
You mean writing a section for traps in the Preparation page?
I'd prefer leave that to people more familiar with the concept and the idea, I saw someone was also working on such a page recently.
If the draft is considered good, just make it shorter until it fits a subsection.
Then I can review and apply it.

But the answer seems to talk like it's a new page, so I'll answer as such:I would shorten it a little more
"Characters can create and manipulate traps of one or more types with great skill. Generally manufactured before combat or in the middle of it after momentarily hiding"
