Respectfully, ya'll's opinions on this just don't matter lmao. The profile will go up whether you like it or not.

And thank god for that, because it's actually quite a phenomenal profile. It'll be one of the absolute best this verse has seen from a quality perspective, which should be the only thing that matters in this discussion.

On behalf of everyone in the fandom, I wanna thank Deceived for putting in so much time and effort into this. He's been working on it for literal months.

No, it’s not. People spend months creating CRTs to propose upgrades or downgrades, and it’s perfectly fine for others to disagree. However, what you can’t do is say, “I’m doing you a favor, so you should agree with me.” Just because you upgrade a character from planetary to star level, while others might scale that character to solar level, doesn’t mean everyone must accept your rating.
Please don’t try to create division among us. In fact, many users here don’t even want a profile for the character yet, while others do—and that’s completely fine. AP is an essential factor in scaling, and this is a debate forum, after all.

complaining about shibai ap is the same as complaining about every other naruto character's profile. if we have an issue we sort it ourselves with crts

Personally I don't have much to say regarding where they choose to put his AP in
The only contention I had is feeling that the profile is made too early with minimal chances of being able to display feats and scaling
Similar to seeing a new shinobi and slapping on a "at least human level" or "comparable to other shinobi" when it is hinted on being massively higher
since the wiki helps how people perceive power levels of characters I feel that it would ruin his real tiering being taken seriously if a lower one is slapped on him
If it does get passed, well not much to do

What I’m frustrated with isn’t people disagreeing. If you could read what I typed you’d understand that when I said “it’s fine to disagree”. What’s annoying is when someone goes “oh if it’s not how I like it, throw it away it’s trash”. That’s complaining and whining.

I don’t care where you personally scale characters, that’s never been the issue. Stop trying to manipulate my words to suit your own narrative.

Why is this a fight slayer?. There is literally a CRT before profile goes up. Some things would have to be debated and mods would have to agree or disagree. I'm not even saying he should not create CRT all I'm saying is I don't agree, which honestly does not matter as my vote don't count, but that is fine. “Slayer” people don't have to agree with you and that is fine.

i feel this personally if we were just talking about the transcended version, you can ask @Arc7Kuroi himself how much i was in disagreement with the idea under the pretense of it being this specific version, that being said most of shibai's lore comes from after his "death" and there isnt any implication we will even get to explore the pre ascension anyway, and if we do we can just upgrade him after the fact.

because at the end of the day this site is first and foremost an indexing wiki before a forum battle one, and if we can have profiles for Condor the Ninja ostrich we can have one for Shibai

Why are you acting like the profile's initial ratings are permanent lmao? If Shibai drops in 20 chapters and busts an infinite multiverse or whatever, then his rating will be adjusted accordingly. It's not like he's hard-capped by his current rating. That's no reason to not create a profile. We never gatekeep profiles because "X character may or may not be stronger in the future". And with Boruto's horrendous pacing, we could be waiting for years without any meaningful Shibai content.

As for perception, trust me, it doesn't work like that. If Shibai gets concretely better scaling, people will know and adjust their perceptions accordingly. Super Saiyan God Goku and Beerus were tier 5/4 on most forums including VSBW pre-2016, but once the Uni feats dropped in Super, it just became the accepted meta more or less universally. If something truly game-changing drops for Shibai, people will adjust their perceptions organically, that's just how these things work.

No, Arc, you don't get to Gatekeep people's opinions and change their words. I have seen this profile on his blog, and I agree with many things and disagree with others. I spoke with Deceived yesterday, and the only thing I said to him was that the AP is a big downplay, and he should go ahead and create the profile, as I'm working on an upgrade right after. . Let people disagree in peace.

I agree that creating a character profile should not be gatekeeped. However making a profile withholding valuable information to keep the character at a lower tier can be considered disingenuous ( I don't think deceive is though as his main goal is to get the profile passed). My problem is we can't just say well, we don't have enough information about the character and still create a profile. If we are going to do that, let's use all the information we have. Thus, I agree with the profile but disagree with the AP rating.

Deceived is using everything we currently have at our disposal. Like, he just factually is.
 
No one involved in the profile’s creation is withholding any vital information that disingenuously downplays the character. The only withholding of information is that the manga could reveal more stuff. Deceived is quite literally working with all the information we have on Shibai to make the profile. It’s just that right now the people working on the profile don’t believe the current information warrants tier 2, meanwhile you disagree and think it does. This has nothing to do with dishonesty or gatekeeping anything for his AP you goober.

Well, that is true to some extent, and there is other stuff like Isshiki's abilities, which I don't wholly agree with. What I'm arguing for, and you should know by now, is Omnipotence being capable of constructing a low 2c world. Well, for this, I'm already working on my argument, which I will propose later if deceived CRT is accepted. Like I said, I'm indifferent to the profile; however, the fact that Arc is coming here trying to make it look bad and set me up for backlash for disagreeing with the AP is the problem.
