Guy Goated. He has feats that put him above Anbu like beating them up but does Hakubi? If not then this is completely valid to use.

If you try to scale anything from Boruto to Naruto, you won't succeed. Here on the site they consider that things that happen in Boruto do not scale to Naruto, you can try a scale for Boruto based on this character but if you try to take this to Naruto, it won't be approved.

Kurama's regen for his shippuden counter part comes from Boruto
 
Also, this is random but I hope Oda doesn’t give Luffy a Kid EoS and I hope Kubo doesn’t continue Kazui’s story (I do, but you know…)

We don’t need another Ichigo/Naruto/Luffy “Next Generations” decade long argument with their kids. The fandoms would become a lot worse than they are now or have been in the past 🙄

I expressed it badly, my bad. I meant that we don't do scales like: "A jounin from Boruto has a feat, then the jounins from Naruto scale just because they are Jounins too." Things like that, we can't do backscaling based on a title or rank or things like that, there has to be a stronger connection like a direct statement or being the same character without significant changes, or it could be a characteristic that the character has always had and only in Boruto did we have more information about it, like the Kurama example.
 
So wait… does the Strength of Karma scale to percentage even w/o TE? Even though Boruto wasn’t using TE, Isshiki still recognized Boruto was using 80% of Momoshiki’s power and it Correlated to the Extraction progress.

According to Code, TE is just gaining the Experience of the Otsutsuki. I look at this as simply comparable to Mindless Juubito vs Obito in Full Control. Obviously both had the same level of power in that it’s the same incomplete Juubi, but Mindless Juubito wouldn’t have the same “Control” of that power as Obito being in Full Control.

For example, if Naruto or Sasuke had Karma instead, neither would really get a “Boost” from TE as they are already equally, if not moreso, skilled than Momoshiki or Isshiki in CC / Taijutsu. Meaning the “Boost” from TE is relative to the skill level of user. A Regular Civilian would have a larger boost from TE than if a Jonin had Karma/TE.

So we should be able to scale PreTS Boruto and Kawaki to whatever tier of power 80-82% of Isshiki/Momoshiki as those are the levels they were at and only note that TE Boruto/Kawaki are more experienced due to Momoshiki/Isshiki having better CC/Taijutsu experience than them.

Like I said to SlendVeny, you said Hashirama would win WITHOUT Sage Mode, meaning no Shinsuu Senju. I also have doubts whether it would hit him. Without Kurama, he might've just ran instead of trying to confront it head on.

nope I said hashirama already won without sage mode like their first fight. He only whipped out sage mode in the second fight coz MAS was too much. The facts are madara and hashirama foguht 3 times, each time hashirama getting more buffed and he lost all 3 times INcluding when he had the rinnengan as an edo. So, I said the only reason a madara that is alive with 2 rinnengan would beat hashi is just coz of limbo

I feel like we prob could do this anyway, given we jonin characters in the boruto era that scale to naruto era jonin scaling like Shojoji
 
so im thinking of using teams of 2 with 4 members per team for the Kunoichi battle royal, feel free to suggest characters
 
So the whole IT won't work on bleach characters coz the hokages were unaffected came up again and I don't get the logic. It is clear here that the reason for them not being affected is just an unknown reason coz like a weaker genjutsu "koto" affected an edo like itachi so it is clearly not coz they are "dead"

IT =/= other genjutsu though. IT a weird ass thing.
 
Why does Koto being able to affect Edo make it superior in totality to the IT? Koto cannot place the entire planet under a GJ at the same time. Why does one minor advantage make it entirely better?

1. Doesn't require you to gather all the tailed beast for some mumbo jumbo
2. Doens't require you to have special eyes to summon the gedo statue
3. Actually works on the dead along with some other jutsu
4. Itachi
5. Has the feats of working on the dead

Coz it would make koto superior without the range. The range comes from the reflection of light off the moon. something the eye itself does. But the genjutsu itself is just individual. Like it would make koto superior to IT on a planet without a moon.
 
I'm very foggy on naruto stuff , but wasn't koto stated to be the strongest genjutsu or something ? Or was that before Inf Tsuki was introduced ?

thing is without a moon the 3rd eye genjutsu would have zero feats of being superior to koto as there was no one it worked on with resistance to koto. what's worse is koto working on the dead just contradicts it being the most potent. It has to work just like koto for the statement to be valid

Idk, IT was introduced during Madara meeting up with an underage Obito and bringing him back to his cave. I don't know if he said it was the strongest or not.
 
the IT having a single weakness doesn’t make it inferior to Koto. The IT can have more potent mind hax and that makes it superior. Or it’s the ultimate GJ because it can capture every living being under it. It being the ultimate GJ doesn’t grant it the abilities of every other GJ like Koto working on dead people.

How do you measure the potent mind hax, though? Cause we have a statement from the layer page for genjutsu that koto is the second strongest(US link is broken who could have guessed), The Last Sasuke is said to have the strongest.

the former requires proof that is just not there while the latter does not grant layered potency like it has now

koto can capture edo and overwrite their preexisting mind manipulation. It does not seem minor to me at all. I'm not asking for it to get special abilities of ms genjutsu like tsukyomi. Working on the dead did not seem like a perk based on ability but rather just pure potency as itachi described it as being able to rewrite edo tensei coz there is no genjutsu more powerful than it. So if a genjutsu is stated more powerful than koto then should it not follow suit?

If kaguya used byakugan then it just supports me more> it would mean the range is not a perk of the genjutsu itself but an added ability and as such the genjutsu in a one om one is less

And yet there is plain feats on screen that IT not work on edo while koto did work.

Even a perfect jin like naruto needed sasuke susanoo umbrella to not get negged by IT while the edo were perfectly fine. Only logical conclusion would be that IT don't work on dead people.
