Naruto to Boruto Discussion Thread

I analyzed Naruto's discussion rules to make them more readable. Discussion_Rules?diff=4785220&oldid=4785214
  • Please refrain from attempting to upgrade the regular statistics of Kaguya and Momoshiki to Star level or above. It was decided that Kaguya should not be granted durability or attack potency comparable to her Expansive Truth-Seeking Ball for her casual attacks, as the only scene wherein this rating would be warranted is strife with Plot-Induced Stupidity. Insistence of this will be unappreciated.

Some form of this rule was present ever since the discussion rules page existed on the front page at https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/VS_Battles_Wiki?diff=225240&oldid=225216, but the rule fully started existing at https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/Discussion_Rules?diff=767811&oldid=757258 and underwent further revisions at https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/Discussion_Rules?diff=4785214&oldid=4725433. As https://vsbattles.com/threads/etso-reio35-edition.143215/ debunked the ETSB being Tier 4 altogether, this rule is now vacuous and should be removed.
  • The Naruto databook descriptions should only be used on a case-by-case basis, depending on if the sources are consistent with the manga or are questionable hyperbole.

  • Please do not attempt to upgrade the Truth Seeking Orbs from Naruto as being able to destroy Souls due to Minato's soul's lost arms. We have had several discussions, and even a Staff Discussion regarding the topic, that all reached the conclusion that the TSOs do not actually destroy the soul, but rather nullify the Edo Tensei Ninjutsu.

  • Take care to evaluate Naruto databook descriptions on a case-by-case basis when using them for scaling, as these sources vary from consistent with the manga to questionable hyperbole.
  • Do not attempt to give Truth-Seeking Balls Soul Manipulation due to Minato's soul losing arms alongside his Edo Tensei body from them, as extensive discussion regarding the topic deemed it a side effect of Truth-Seeking Balls nullifying the Edo Tensei ninjutsu's binding effect, thus only indirectly returning those parts of his soul to the Pure Land.
  • Please refrain from using the novelization of Boruto: Naruto the Movie for scaling, as retcons in the manga and anime have made it unsuitable for this purpose.

If it's about it being chakra and people saying chakra = spiritual + physical then yikes maybe cause I got a translation of chakra from the databook that explains how it's made and it says physical + mental = chakra. But I'm getting it checked cause I like double checking stuff.

nah Nard fans are chilling rn. Part 1 characters have some better calcs now, High Tiers and Top Tiers got juiced, Itachi has one of the best profiles on the site, and several unsuccessful downgrades.

It's been non-stop eats if anything.
