Is it possible for you to give me an example of when the manga references the anime?
Sumire is an anime character first, she was introduced in the first arc of Boruto (the anime) and later made her debut in the Ao arc in the manga, with the manga directly referencing the events of the anime and her leaving the ninja program to become a scientist. later on they also reference when they went to the mist village during the academy era, this is a reference to the second arc of the Boruto anime.

Ok that makes sense. I was convinced that the anime wasn't canon to the manga but you proved me wrong.
 
Mk, I haven't actually seen the Urashiki stuff myself, but a friend of mine who takes powerscaling the Boruto anime very seriously said something along those lines
 
Eida is supposed to be a full cyborg like Delta, right? And inorganic physiology should be type 2, probably the same as delta.And 100 gray radiation can affect the cyborg?
