I think it's pretty obvious. His whole power is based on his connection to the sun. The closer, more visible the sun is, the more powerful he is.

Actually, I'm gonna make a bold assumption here, and say that the increase in power over distance is linear, so let's say 5 meters closer will always increase the potential damage he does by the same amount regardless of how far away from the sun he is. Gonna use some CATIA to calculate how much power he'd have if he was literally on the surface of Sun, or at least relatively close to it.


Ok, the diameter of earth is 12742km if I'm right, and the distance from earth to sun is 149597000km. If we assume a linear increase, that increases his power by 11740 times, so only about Tier 6-A (1.174*10^16).

I also did a different calc, as I'm not 100% sure about the 1st one and that yielded 6.02*10^21 what's low 5-B.

Now, I ain't 100% sure about this 'cause it's 2:30 AM here and I need sleep. I might be talking out of my ass tho.

He used it right after unsheathing his blade, so it could be - Though Meliodas and Chandler don't need to do so. We should wait until he uses it again.

He too does it with weapon only, though it's unlikely he can only do it with weapons.

Zeldris' God ability is basically Link, he takes the Demon King's power per his consent, the Demon King can even control the amount. Obviously it can only use one person.

He still got wrecked by Estarossa though, so either his sunshine is weaker than Escanor or he's angelic abilities are just weak

Goddess and Archangel magic is extremely effective against Demons, so weakness isn't much of a big deal, unless they are like some restricted Meliodas level being.

time out... via scaling mael has sunshine scaling of escanor, scaling of the 4A who have hax healing ,brainwashing and light manipulation... soo um how tf did he lose to estrarossa...we dont really know if night time affects him like it does escanor also.. maybe it does but damn.. i need to see the full fight...
