My Hero Academia General Discussion Thread #18

Multi city block?
Make it mountain level
Calc her getting stomped through a building at mountain level and we can talk
I mean he’s still physically moving them so would it still work for LS?
No? That has nothing to do with his LS he’s hitting them downwards by essentially crashing into someone mid air via propulsion. His LS is no where near a factor of it.

Or the fact she survived endeavor being kicked ontop of her by a character who is mountain level, the attack harming someone who also have mountain level durability.
Or her momentarily halting the charge of a mountain level being without instantly having her limbs blown off (got pierced and broken limbs but wasn’t instantly annihilated by the attack). Like reacted to the charge that 45% deku and bakugo got out paced by, blocked the attack. Idk man

Make the crt then, very simple

Yes Ryukyu should have similar treatment with how Gran Torino is going to be scaled, except she objectively appears to have better feats at least.

Ryukyu definitely has one of the best speed feats for intercepting Shigaraki when the latter was going "beyond his limits" from off the page.

@TheRustyOne So when rewatching heroes rising, even at 1/4 speed, the speed of the smash is much higher (when I saw it, it travelled through the storm clouds, before parting them. Like the one you used has the same distance as the ones frames before it, because we can’t see off screen lol)

What are you talking about?

Can you link the calc you have an issue with, because I don't understand what you mean.

The heroes rising one. Just the speed part. (the shot you used for the timeframe is only showing the clouds still being parted, the other frames before it have a similar distance).
the 8 frame shot shows the same distance as one I got from like 3(?) frames, I’m on my iPad so giving you my screen shot is impossible I’m sorry.

Why you no link calc when asked?

That isn't mine, despite it being in my blog. I was just updated numbers with what I believe to be more accurate scans. I linked the og calc in the blog.

Taking a look at the scene myself. Should've done that in the first place.

I don't think any timeframe is actually possible here. The shockwave already went through the clouds by the time we see it far away, we don't see it travel upward from that shot.

It was just dispersing the clouds as it expanded. But it already traveled through it. I guess we'll have to drop it.

Oh no you can see the way the clouds brighten. Like the top (part which is parted by 10-12 frames) is still dark while the distance you/OG post measured is bright ~1.5 frames in.
Of course this could just be me looking into it too far Into what the animators were smoking

The "beam" of air pressure is already pass the point of measurement in the very first frame we see. Just that the cloud is covering it.

We don't actually see the "beam" of air travel, it just expands and gets bigger.

That picture is the first frame of the scene, the frame before that is this.

Which means this cannot be calced the way it currently is. Since we don't see the air moving upward from that shot.
Fac
so lets just not mention this
but this means we need to find more speed
you uh. You got any ideas rusty?

I’m looking back at Deku’s Main speed feat (the Mach 60 one), because I noticed that they measure the middle spike, but that one is above overhaul, so that can’t be the one they measure in the picture, it’s the one the right of it.
so I’m doing my best but my best is not very good

Idk.
Look RWBY can get 7-C from melting a (relatively) small hole into a building, you learn not to question it
Look man melting is op and it was the side of a floating tournament arena turned into a satellite + it was multiple floors of iron melted too

Edit: small my ass that 12 px is = to 1.65 m

Melting is indeed OP.
i finished trying to recall the Shie hassaki feat awhile ago, and I added a section that I did for my own amusement

The KE version obviously can't be used. It is treating the entire explosion as if it were a solid volume of dirt and treat it as if the entire mass travelled to the full height of the explosion when obviously only the very top of it would have, not the whole thing.
I wish I could understand what this means

Can we start listing all of the supporting feats on the VS Wiki Page? Like the 7-C feat for this, All Might’s 7-B Storm Punch, Bakugou’s Low 7-B Mountain Melt and his 7-A attack against Nine

Feels like our AP feats page is too barebones when it comes to Tier 7 stuff

If said calculations are currently being used as justifications, then sure, feel free to add them or create a CRT or whatever to get them added, or talk to a staff.

Because the MHA page has like, several dozen calculations for AP/Dura alone.

OFA 100% and those in that level being Mountain level is probably the reason why the City level calcs aren't listed in the main page.

MHA can't be compared to One Piece or OPM in terms of feats especially as we rarely get escalating feats in the manga.

Look at Endeavor vs AFO for example. While both characters pull out new abilities, they don't perform any feats beyond what they showcased in their previous fights.

Tbh I rather have one good feat that all the good tiers scale to then everyone doing their own feat
