I'll make it interesting. Imagine the most unrealistic event, then make it more realistic not by taking away their powers, but making them think and act more realistically. That means, no "PIS", no "outliers", and no "CIS". It could be from Bleach, Naruto, etc. or video games or even movies. They are essentially what ifs as well.

For example, what would truly happen if Lille Barro and Shunsui were by themselves and Nanao Ise was taken care of another Sternritter or unwittingly Shunsui himself? Lille just shoots Shunsui in the head, during or after using Vollstandig, when Shunsui has been hit enough and not standing. Lille stays in Wahrwelt and Nanao Ise wasn't even there to cry, but is already dead from Pernida or Shunsui's Bankai.

I am interested of what others would have for this thread, since they're as valid as mine.

During the Sensui fight, Yusuke dies and the others don't get their boosts from the emotion and shock. Instead, they get one-shotted by Sensui, Yusuke stays dead due to no ex-machina, and demons take over the human world.

Be aware that means Sensui won't feel like he has to fight him again. Here's another example. Jugram will do the same thing to Uryu like he did to Bazz-B, he didn't just cut him hard, he outright bifurcated his limbs and decapitated him while The Almighty is used, making Uryu seem like a liar.

Yhwach decides that since he has the power of the Soul King and Mimihagi, as well as The Almighty, he modified his Auswahlen to take all of the "useless" and "impure" Shinigami's power, souls, experience, memories, skills, and abilities and his soul fragments back into himself, not just the remaining Quincy's, leaving with little to no other opposition to face besides Ichigo. When Ichigo senses this, he decides he can't forget about the deaths of the ones he was sworn to protect with his power in Wahrwelt. Orihime sees Ichigo's exceedingly angry, horrified look on his face. Now, he'll have to move on with his life with Orihime and write about not about being emo, but having to struggle with the current reality and later funerals he had to attend to if they are enough people to go with. He curses Yhwach for ruining his life, even though he may have stopped Yhwach.

Another would be like this: Madara used a Shadow Clone to fool Black Zetsu after using the Infinite Tsukuyomi, and used a technique to seal and/or kill Black Zetsu, with Obito having no Black Zetsu to be possessed by. He can now fight Naruto and Sasuke without interruption, without any plot-induced stupidity Black Zetsu would attempt in the future. Kakashi and Sakura takes Obito's apparent corpse or now alive, but in no convenient condition to fight.

The Sternritter of Wahrwelt realizes that Yhwach wants them to be even more no-nonsense and wants them to get it done and exploit any chance. Pernida right away clones itself, and instead of the main body Pernida being destroyed by Nemu, it was a clone that was killed. The main body Pernida and the other clones immediately get to and attack Mayuri to keep him from eating Nemu's brain. Pernida then attacks everyone and copies their powers and didn't die from the Regenerationn, since they eaten Nemu's brain as well.

Askin's stomach settles completely and kills Kisuke Urahara with The Deathdealing in full effect, Grimmjow couldn't hit Askin, because he used Hirenkyaku to avoid a stab in the heart. It's just Askin vs Grimmjow. Yoruichi and her brother died not because of hate, but because The Deathdealing was amplified.

Gerard intentionally attacks himself not out of stupidity, but out of pragmatism, the Shinigami are wondering if he's crazy or not from being damaged so much by them and goes straight to his Godly Size, with even more power, being beyond the Gotei 13 to endure and survive from. Instead of blowing Rukia and Renji away, he literally stomps on them hard enough to crush them and their brains. Byakuya is seriously angry because of the death of somebody who reminded him of Hisana. The Visored aren't merely repelled, Gerard slashed them hard enough to not magically survive from it. When Gerard in his Vollstandig hits Kenpachi, he sees Kenpachi's legs and arms are now damaged beyond use, and decapitated, while using his Bankai. And Toshiro didn't get to use his complete Bankai to finish his battle, since Byakuya is not in his best state of mind.

Well, in term of Realism, Touhou isn't any better either: Yukari could have manipulate herself to transcend into godhood instantly, then mindwash the entire human race by infitrating the boundary of mind (this also mean she could control the entire religion, the source of God in this world). She then could control all the resource in the world just by expanding her own zone, knowingly pushing earth to a 1.0 civilization. Then she could unlock all her allies's potential by removing their limitation, and through feeding them with the entire earth's strength, they get massively strong and, sooner or later, take down the Lunarian. Then through ultilizing their tech, further enhancing her's army strength and pushing it to take over the universe (eventually).

You know what the best part, I'm just talking about Yukari here. So yeah, realism isn't what the gensokyan want to do.

Well, that makes sense. Here's another one.

When DIO became Heaven Ascension DIO, he made sure he enhanced his physical body beyond their original limits as well. After a talk about how to eliminate paradoxical destruction, Funny Valentine's D4C effects were applied to DIO by theft or other means. When Jotaro tried to get the golden items from the original Joestar's universe to try to damage him with a paradox, DIO outright tells Jotaro that he's immune to it and expected this. Jotaro quickly dies, and DIO gets to literally rule the world without any convenient opposition.

When Kaguya finally reverts to her true form, she immediately uses the Rinnegan and Sharingan techniques to overpower Sasuke and Naruto, as well as quickly drain their chakra, without any waste of time. When Kaguya is met with opposition, she teleports and drains Naruto and Sasuke of their chakra, bit by bit. She killed Sakura, Kakashi and Obito at their most vulnerable moments. She also made sure she sealed them, so they can't bother her or stop her. Black Zetsu didn't help her as much, since her intelligence is properly used. Once she get all of their chakra successfully, she kills them both.

The Strawhats seriously learned and mastered from CP9's Rokushiki and Busoshoku Haki and actually incorporate them into their moveset. Luffy made sure none of them lack the sufficient technique against future threats. That means they all have Busoshoku Haki and Rokushiki for over a year. Logia users, like Monet were dealt with more efficiently than before, as none of the Straw Hat Pirates are safe to fight against anymore, meaning, they can't just go to Nami without worrying about getting hit with a Haki-enhanced staff from her.

When Ichigo gets his Shinigami powers back from Gotei 13 and the others, he also tells the others to modify his Substitute Shinigami Badge to be used for his Fullbring, and make it more durable to use and fit for combat, even when he's not in his mortal human body, by Kisuke Urahara and Mayuri Kurotsuchi. Riruka and the other Fullbringers apologized and give some of his Fullbring power back. He tells Isshin if he (Ichigo) is a Quincy. Isshin tells him that yes, he is a Quincy, and his mother was a Quincy as well, and rather than leave his son unaware, he'll have Uryu and his father Ryuken to unwillingly train him in most Quincy techniques, including Blut Vene and Blut Arterie, as well as getting his very own Quincy Cross and mastering the Heilig Bogen and Heilig Pfeil. The Royal Guard trained him in Kido, other Shunpo techniques, and mastering his reiatsu a lot better, as well as certain techniques. Hollow Zangetsu and Quincy Zangetsu teaches him how to use Cero, shadows, and other abilities that he should know on his own.

Yhwach uses The Almighty, he obliterated Ichibee entirely, leaving nothing of him behind. He also made sure he gets all of his power. Jugram and the others made sure the Royal Guard are decapitated, heads and brain shot, bifurcated and incinerated.

When Enrico Pucci gets Made in Heaven, he made sure he killed Emporio Alni├▒o quickly as well, rather than getting to a location to kill him in for a while.

When Gremmy fought against Kenpachi, he imagines himself stronger without imagining Kenpachi as a monster that cannot be beaten. He then clones himself as much as possible and imagines Kenpachi fading into nothingness.

When Frieza obtained Ultimate Evolution, he decided to go to Earth...until the Frieza from another timelime told him don't do it, as he will die from Goku if he's not patient and shown evidence to not lose to the "Saiyan monkey" like he did. Main timelime Frieza decided to master his Golden Form for two or more months. When he faced his SSGSS Goku, not only did Frieza win fair and square, he never gotten weaker.

One more for now.'

Goku and Vegeta and the remaining Saiyans were granted by Chichi to be able to breathe in space and breathe underwater without any problems. In future battles, the enemies learned the hard way that they could no longer be killed by vacuum of space or even trying to drown them underwater.

Quoting TFS Goku

"Gasp! But space is a vacum!"

(Goku pronounces it wrong. This was the best spelling I could do.)

Rather, survive in space and underwater without suffocation and the possiblility of dying.

How about they abuse Zenkais by nearly killing each other (Goku and Vegeta) to get stronger by a lot every day.

Not only are they even stronger than before, Vegeta has all the necessary Super Saiyan forms, including Super Saiyan 3. Also, Goku manages to train and perfect his Kaioken while in Super Saiyan Blue.

I'd love to see SSJ3 Vegeta.

Ooh. Now that they have a way to get out of the Hyperbolic Time Chamber without the door (Vice Shout), they can train in there more.

Also, they also think about either fusing into Gogeta or Vegito with godly ki in emergencies, but they set up precautions, such as getting Majin Buu's power to make them separate while Vegito, or defusing at will when they are finished with something significant, but also intentionally focus more on their Saiyan pride on a more rational, yet still beneficial way.

It's possible. Let's see...

Cooler, while in the afterlife, sees Frieza in his Ultimate Evolution. Cooler himself transcended his limits and became Golden Cooler or Silver Cooler with any stamina problems taken care of.

Goku achieves Super Saiyan 4 in Super much earlier, but uses godly ki to achieve Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan 4 or Super Saiyan Blue 4, and mastered Kaioken X100. He also trained with Vegeta, who then get the same form and mastered his Final Shine Attack. Unlike the use on Super Android 17, it was imbued with godly ki and was rather lethal to an empty galaxy Vegeta was firing at. When they see ahead of the future thanks to Whis and the others, they were embarrassed of how they have forgotten how to use these convenient techniques against Baby, Super Android 17 and the Shadow Dragons.

When Kenpachi Zaraki fights against Berenice, Jerome, and Loyd, the latter three do not stupidly mess each others' abilities. Instead, Berenice intentionally tells Jerome "Please, let me ask a few questions." When Berenice herself asks Kenpachi a few questions, Kenpachi questions everything about himself and when Berenice was satisfied of her results due to her ability, The Question. She then uses Hirenkyaku to avoid becoming deaf from Jerome's The Roar, which then made Kenpachi at a more effective situation. Loyd then imitates Kenpachi Zaraki and they overpower Kenpachi. Kenpachi is defeated or killed, and the three managed to either get of the battle survived or standing proudly.

I'm going to break up the Shonen Jump domination of this thread and bring up another example.

In Mega Man Battle Network, the bad guys wouldn't just try to beat Lan and Mega Man through Cyber Battles, they would instead go after Lan first, probably beat him to the brink of death, and then fight Mega while he's deprived of Battle Chips.

But to be fair, the one time they did try this, Lan's teacher happened to be a national championship level karate master and kicked all of their rears into next Tuesday.

On the other hand, Lan wouldn't be losing all of his godly Battle Chips at the end of each game, and Mega Man would end any and all boss fights with the Giga Freeze program.

Reppuzan, you brought up a very great point. If Lan and Mega Man gone through a far more realistic setting or series of situations, they wouldn't have their Life Sword Program Advances and their styles conveniently gone. They don't need to go through the obvious and understandably obnoxious tutorials, and in fact, Mega Man or Lan would think that's insulting their intelligence, so they politely let someone else know that yes, they know about Full Synchro.

Another Mega Man example is the fact that X loses his Ultimate Armor (which gets downgraded for unexplained reasons) and gives up all of his weapons because he doesn't want to have too much power... when he could simply crush Sigma with his accumulated power in each game (Ultimate Armor = infinite weapon energy + X5's Dark Hold = Infinite Time Stop).

In the Archie comics, they at least try to justify this since when X's predecessor, the original Mega Man, did get every Robot Master weapon, he went nuts with power until Dr. Light talked him down.

Yes. That's another valid one. In a far more realistic situation, Mega Man X decided that after the fight with Sigma, Dynamo, and other bosses trying to take him down fatally, and Zero going through the same things, they keep their powers, and X tells Alia to get experts on fixing and enhancing the Falcon Armor. Unlike the previous unrealistic event, Zero didn't lose his previous techniques. Mega Man X uses Soul Body and other techniques like he did in X4 and X5 in later events. The Marverick Hunters admit that losing all of their basic and advanced weaponry in later events, especially when they have no particular obligation to do, is unrealistic and irrational, and sounds asinine. They even tell the others that it's something that happens only in fictional media, due to wanting to keep the video game characters from getting an existing weapon out or technique to finish the deal, and that that the are living in the real world, so that shouldn't happen.

Here's something that needs to be brought up. In a far more realistic event, Sonic does remember he turned into Hyper Sonic and he justifies his occasional transformation was to be used for very dire situations only. Here, the Super Emeralds don't disappear and are still there, but well hidden. Knuckles keeps his ability of transformation into his Hyper form.

When Yugi was about to give Weevil his Exodia cards, he hesitated. Why? Because his friend Joey or Yami Yugi (Atem) told him that if he did this, he will throw them to the water. Yugi decides to take their word seriously and keeps them. Weevil was not happy that Yugi was too smart for him to fool.

I'm gonna use what Rep used for Samus losing her armor upgraes. And instead of Samus getting PTSD from seeing Ridley, she wants nothing but pure, unadulterated, revenge each time seeing his draconic face.

Yes, because Samus would have known that she should have that kind of vengeful feeling, but because the creators wanted to censor her real feelings, the true feelings were edited into PTSD. Oh and any weapon or armor she got in the past, didn't conveniently disappear or get destroyed. They're well taken care of, and secured.

An easy one.
Bowser decides NOT to fight Mario on a bridge when he (Bowser) has the home field advantage.
"Mario. You know very well that this is not a video game. This is real life, and why would I fight you on the bridge? You must be imagining things."

Pokemon undergoes through far more realistic situations. Rivals who only appear in a single game or region appear somewhere during vacation or they moved permanently there. Battles are more realistic and balanced. Legendary Pokemon have more than one of the same kind. All Pokemon can be brought out of their Poke Ball to follow the trainer.

Ghetsis actually is taken to court and prison, is charged for his deliberate crimes, his reputation known to the entire Pokemon world, and his Pokemon taken somewhere from his tyrannical hands.

Everybody in Hyrule learns of the reincarnation cycle and refrains from naming their child Link so Ganon doesn't revive.

Also, Team Plasma in Black/White (the first one) would be treated as we see PETA and probably would be given funding.

Here's another thing. Link didn't forget about the Fierce Deity Mask whatsoever, and it fact, to make sure not just anyone could take it away, he intentionally finds a high-level mage, seal it in a large treasure chest, and when the situation demands it, opens it and uses it to challenge Ganon and other opponents.

How about Zelda keeps the light/silver arrows on hand so the main villain has another thing coming when he tries to kidnap her. And probably also abuse her piece of the triforce.

I also just realized that Navi is a fairy. She could've been reviving Link the entire time in OoT. Same with Tatl and MM.

Not only Zelda would no longer be a convenient damsel in distress, but the main enemy would have to be more open and kidnap a prince who isn't as secure and armed as Princess Zelda whatsoever.

Ratchet and Clank remembered and made logs on every single armor, bolt, costume, and weapon throughout the galaxy, and wear the most effective ones against future enemies. That means that no, Omega Weapons and all RYNO weaponry didn't magically disappear. The Infernox armor didn't disappear in the next games or events.

Since Asriel is omnipresent throughout time, Asriel goes to stomp (or join depending on if he had the change of heart yet) Chara in the genocide route.

Not only that, but when Mettaton goes into his ultimate form, he makes sure Frisk or Chara are dealt with quickly, instead of just doing nothing.

How about Sans, being the scientific genius aware of time travel and multiverses, just sets a KR bone at the respawn point.

That means that Sans will now be making them even more unwilling to fight him and suffer through a more severe level of suffering.

When Iceman faces Oblivion, he freezes him as usual. However, that was a double and was made intentionally weaker. Iceman was immediately killed afterwards by the real one.

Sora didn't become unable to use Drive Forms in later battles. He still has his Limit Form.

lol. How about Kirby remebers all of his final weapons, most of them like the Star Rod and Love-Love Stick being super-effective against evil, and hypernova allowing him to stomp Sectonia, and just store them in his stomach, and just speed his way to the final boss via warpstar and let loose all of his attacks.

Also, Mewtwo mindrekts Red when the latter tries to capture him in Cerulean Cave Gen I.
