I'll just get right to the chase and see what others think about this:

1. Lightning Aura (Shocked Erza when she kicked him in the face, shown to have a massive amount of lightning around his body)




2. Danmaku (Shocked Erza from many directions at once)

I think the second one is just the effects from the lightning sparking off really hard. It's just like she gets electrocuted the first time but worse.

But we see in the first shot, Laxus calls lightning all around erza, even behind her

I just realized that is supposed to be lightning, but I am not sure that is enough to qualify for danmaku.

Yeah, I don't think that qualifies as Danmaku at all.

Lightning Aura is fine.
