That's the problem does FC affect prolonged energy beams or does it only work on projectile-like attacks, like lightning bolts, energy blasts/waves, etc.

Another thing that Meliodas could do is Revenge Counter, and luckily in this key he's willing to use it if he soaks up a lot of damage. So far Meliodas has clones, attack reflection, and his Demon Mark. Modred has Mana Burst and CBA.

Meliodas's FC has showed to work outside of Mel's tier numerous times in the manga.

His best FC feat to date is able to FC an attack capable to destroy Britannia out of the map and killing the DK with it.

And against Albion which was City Level, his mere clones which was like 3 digit PL aka building level FC his attack.

Actually, Mel is 6C+ which is barely weaker then Clarent Blood Arthur, so even if it hits him and he can't Full counter his regen should cover it.

That assumes Mordred even uses it, unlikely given she gets murdered in CQC.
