He lost his resurrection after breaking the curse, go read Meliodas' profile. His resurrection takes months anyway, if he can't do that in less than several hours, that's considered a loss by the wiki's standards

clones cut in half his strenght/dura, 2 clones = 50% of meliodas strenght, 3 clones = 33% of meliodas strenght (i dont know math but it is something like that)
