I don't see why we wouldn't?Do we use devil children for scaling?
do we take the lore description in the persona/demons as valid?
- Some fodder-level Demons should scale from Pele, the personification of Mt. Kilauea, which should be around 7-B. (
We'd need a calc for her, though.)- Landspark creates a >Magnitude 7 earthquake, which would be at least High 7-C, according to this page.
- Porewit, another fodder Demon, is said to "lay waste to towns" with its fire, but I don't know how quantifiable this would be.
- Jack Frost can do this.
There are probably more I'm missing.
Sorry, but the rule is that devil children is not allowed on this wiki, and no one is allowed to create a profile of black frost or else they will be bannedDo we use devil children for scaling?

You give off the vibe of someone who hasn't played any MegaTen games and is only interested in the verse because it has high tiers, to be completely honest.Sorry, but the rule is that devil children is not allowed on this wiki, and no one is allowed to create a profile of black frost or else they will be banned
Dare I ask why this is the case?Sorry, but the rule is that devil children is not allowed on this wiki, and no one is allowed to create a profile of black frost or else they will be banned
He's jokingDare I ask why this is the case?
then theres me who played the games and then realized later on they had a big following in powerscaling communities for being OP lolYou give off the vibe of someone who hasn't played any MegaTen games and is only interested in the verse because it has high tiers, to be completely honest.
I can't even blame you (or anyone else) because the scaling mostly comes from lore and cosmology statements from a very specific set of games/guidebooks.then theres me who played the games and then realized later on they had a big following in powerscaling communities for being OP lol
i think if you had asked me where they scale right after playing these games they wouldnt be anywhere as high (at leas my initial perception of them)
yeah it makes sense, especially for a series that often be as obtuse as SMTvery specific set of games/guidebooks.
Which ones specifically?I can't even blame you (or anyone else) because the scaling mostly comes from lore and cosmology statements from a very specific set of games/guidebooks.
Off the dome I would say the Persona 2 duology (including the extra scenarios from the re-releases), SMT Strange Journey, SMT IV Apocalypse, SMT V Vengeance, Devil Survivor 2, and the Digital Devil Saga duology (including the novelization).Which ones specifically?
You're a plagiarist.Damn, I'm blocked everywhere on FANDOM BECAUSE OF PSW!!!
I stoped being a plagiarist and don't believe of what the PSW users sayYou're a plagiarist.
What's inherently wrong with PSW users, though?I stoped being a plagiarist and don't believe of what the PSW users say
I'm lacking in novel knowledge. I'll probably have to give the novels a read soon-ish.Off the dome I would say the Persona 2 duology (including the extra scenarios from the re-releases), SMT Strange Journey, SMT IV Apocalypse, SMT V Vengeance, Devil Survivor 2, and the Digital Devil Saga duology (including the novelization).
Yeah, I have all of them outside of the Grimoire: Chaos Museum. Though I asked Chaos about it, he said there isn't much in there that we particularly don't know, so that's probably fine.In terms of guidebooks, there's Shin Megami Tensei Grimoire: Chaos Museum, the Shin Megami Tensei II Demon Encyclopedia, Shin Megami Tensei IV World Analyze, P3xP4 World Analyze, and Schwarzwelt Reminisces. Translations for most of these are pretty scarce, though.
Right, don't worry about that. I'm the type of guy who prefers communication with the general discussion threads and supporters anyway. If you use these to make a CRT without consulting any of the supporters or this thread first, I will hunt you down and put Nair on the top of your head.
I never even implied the first statement. I called him plagiarist because he is. That's why he's blocked from the entire Fandom website. What's inherently wrong with PSW users, though?
And how's plagiarism related to PSW users in any form?
Do these books have notable feats?
I haven't read either in full, so I can't say. Our current 1-A justification is primarily based on theDo these books have notable feats?
No, not you, him. I know well enough of his plagiarism antics.I never even implied the first statement. I called him plagiarist because he is. That's why he's blocked from the entire Fandom website.
I see, of course, that's personal opinions and all, I respect them. Also, at least taking a glance at one of the Megami Tensei pages on the wiki, I see at least one set of scans that is literally just taken from our wiki without any credit. Obviously, we don't own the scans themselves, but these particular albums of specifically-curated feats are work that was done for this wiki and taken for another:
Otherwise, I don't really have anything against them necessarily. There's nothing on their profiles we don't already know (considering most of the information is either directly or indirectly taken from us, plagiarism or not). I do have some criticisms of how the profiles convey certain information and explain the stats, but I could say the same for our (tragically outdated) profiles, too.
From my understanding, the PSW admins discovered he was plagiarizing and reported him to Fandom, causing him to get banned.Bringing PSW in talks about defending himself from plagiarism is kind of random, don't worry you're chill.
Yeah, he reaped what he sowed. Complaining about them or anyone in their place while he was blatantly in the wrong (for plagiarising VSBW, CSAP profiles into VSBW profiles too word for word) is insane. From my understanding, the PSW admins discovered he was plagiarizing and reported him to Fandom, causing him to get banned.
They will if our CRT goes through.Question: are Megami Tensei and Persona characters still 1-A due to the Tiering System Revision?
Not just the Gods, but reg protagonists like Makoto Yuki and Ren Amamiya?
Damn, Link? But even the CRT doesnt go through, they still stay. They will if our CRT goes through.
The CRT was made preemptively to ward off Low 1-A downgrades. Formally, even if it doesn't pass, someone would still need to make a downgrade thread, get it accepted, and then apply the edit. If the CRT passes, the scaling would stay the same (at least until we update the verse).Damn, Link? But even the CRT doesnt go through, they still stay.
So they're still 1-A, either way. Baseline? 1-Layer?
Well, the thread is arguing against the notion that Magnetite quantitatively increases as well. The main argument is that Magnetite can exist in a physical, quantitative form but it doesn't have to necessarily and is qualitative and spiritual in its true essence (which originates from a higher world and is metaphysical in nature). Either way, it's completely dead in the water. They would be Low 1-A since the CRT is trying to fix some anti-feats for 1-A. The biggest issue is that their power increases by 'amounts', which isn’t how 1-A works. Instead, they should overwrite the nature of their existence and reach 1-A that way.

Megami Tensei: The 1-A Ratings (again)
RIP Pope Francis. Introduction So, as we all know, a new standard was passed, that being the following: Q: Can a character have physical stats qualitatively superior to their own state of existence? A: Broadly: No. The crucial thing to note about 1-A and above is that these tiers, in the...vsbattles.com
It's like 4-5 layers with a handful of scaling chains, but none of it really matters, anymore. But how far does the Scaling chain go into 1-A
Nice. If his essence was 1-A from the start, then it's not a problem, since spiritual increase stuff doesn’t help if it’s not already 1-A. Any form of extension from a non-1-A state can’t reach 1-A.Well, the thread is arguing against the notion that Magnetite quantitatively increases as well. Do you mean its outdated?but none of it really matters, anymore.
Interesting. Hopefully the scaling chain and Layers can be expanded upon. It's like 4-5 layers with a handful of scaling chains, but none of it really matters, anymore.
