You give off the vibe of someone who hasn't played any MegaTen games and is only interested in the verse because it has high tiers, to be completely honest.

then theres me who played the games and then realized later on they had a big following in powerscaling communities for being OP lol
i think if you had asked me where they scale right after playing these games they wouldnt be anywhere as high (at leas my initial perception of them)

I can't even blame you (or anyone else) because the scaling mostly comes from lore and cosmology statements from a very specific set of games/guidebooks.

Off the dome I would say the Persona 2 duology (including the extra scenarios from the re-releases), SMT Strange Journey, SMT IV Apocalypse, SMT V Vengeance, Devil Survivor 2, and the Digital Devil Saga duology (including the novelization).

In terms of guidebooks, there's Shin Megami Tensei Grimoire: Chaos Museum, the Shin Megami Tensei II Demon Encyclopedia, Shin Megami Tensei IV World Analyze, P3xP4 World Analyze, and Schwarzwelt Reminisces. Translations for most of these are pretty scarce, though.

If you use these to make a CRT without consulting any of the supporters or this thread first, I will hunt you down and put Nair on the top of your head.

Yeah, I have all of them outside of the Grimoire: Chaos Museum. Though I asked Chaos about it, he said there isn't much in there that we particularly don't know, so that's probably fine.

I never even implied the first statement. I called him plagiarist because he is. That's why he's blocked from the entire Fandom website.

Also, at least taking a glance at one of the Megami Tensei pages on the wiki, I see at least one set of scans that is literally just taken from our wiki without any credit. Obviously, we don't own the scans themselves, but these particular albums of specifically-curated feats are work that was done for this wiki and taken for another:

Otherwise, I don't really have anything against them necessarily. There's nothing on their profiles we don't already know (considering most of the information is either directly or indirectly taken from us, plagiarism or not). I do have some criticisms of how the profiles convey certain information and explain the stats, but I could say the same for our (tragically outdated) profiles, too.

Yeah, he reaped what he sowed. Complaining about them or anyone in their place while he was blatantly in the wrong (for plagiarising VSBW, CSAP profiles into VSBW profiles too word for word) is insane.
 
Question: are Megami Tensei and Persona characters still 1-A due to the Tiering System Revision?

Not just the Gods, but reg protagonists like Makoto Yuki and Ren Amamiya?

The CRT was made preemptively to ward off Low 1-A downgrades. Formally, even if it doesn't pass, someone would still need to make a downgrade thread, get it accepted, and then apply the edit. If the CRT passes, the scaling would stay the same (at least until we update the verse).

Well, the thread is arguing against the notion that Magnetite quantitatively increases as well. The main argument is that Magnetite can exist in a physical, quantitative form but it doesn't have to necessarily and is qualitative and spiritual in its true essence (which originates from a higher world and is metaphysical in nature). Either way, it's completely dead in the water.

Nice. If his essence was 1-A from the start, then it's not a problem, since spiritual increase stuff doesn’t help if it’s not already 1-A. Any form of extension from a non-1-A state can’t reach 1-A.
 
Persona 5 X Global Chat on EU is cursed, not sure about other servers.
