Marvel vs Capcom Discussion Thread

Share thy wisdom oh wise one.
Sure thing. This'll be for the High 5-A side of things. It won't include every character. Just some good examples

Galactus (1.65 Quettatons) < Hawkeye < Iron Man < Thanos < Onslaught ≈ Mega Man/Spider-Man < Blackheart/X < Mephisto < Dante/Vergil/Dormammu < Doctor Strange < Shuma-Gorath

Also, I didn't do that thing some people do where they use multiple "<" signs to signify how much stronger they are sense everybody has their own measurement of that. Basically I'm saying this to let you know that some people upscale others to much higher degrees

Btw, I wouldn't scale Dormammu to Jedah completely since Strange states that the Convergence left him in a weakened state.
I think Strange didn't mean literally. This is supported by Dormammu going "yet still more powerful then you" and proceeding to lose, as well as having past instances in MvC of losing to Strange. I think Stephen was referring to the Dormammu's influence, if anything

Also, Dormammu scales to Dante, so this wouldn't be inconsistent

Another thing worth mentioning is how Shuma-Gorath claims Dormammu could not hope to defeat him. Meanwhile, he views Strange as an actual roadblock

He's up.

He's up.
Still pretty cool how Capcom had Birdie be a part of his moveset

Also, Shadow never defeated Cyber-Akuma. Him defending Chun-Li from Bison is a legitimate feat though

And he's up!
Thanks again for helping!

Meanwhile, in an alternate timeline, Batman's (the first game similar to 1992's cartoon artstyle and voice-wise) around the same tier as Ryu and Superman (who does a handshake as of Justice League vs. Street Fighter) while "Sigmaniac" is among antagonists (alongside Darkseid, Anti-Monitor and some original Capcom boss), without needing goddamn kryptonite pills (yes, DC approached Capcom once and Street Fighter 6's director has interest).
