King has versitalty,but mard's thorns are hard to deal with plus he has AP advantage apparently,thou considering the use of his spear King shouldn't have a lot of problems with his aoe attack against Mard's thorns so yeah vote for King.

Oh I didn't see that it was base Mard. I vote king due to chastiefol being more versatile and deadly than thorn curse, and status promotion lets him win any hand to hand combat.

King would lose immediatly if he fought h2h/without a weapon but i'm guessing that's not quite what you are saying.

Yeah i meant to say cqc instead of h2h, bc king would use form one with status promotion for cqc and form five for any range and to cancel out/destroy any thorns mard throws his way.
