Yukari split the bondary between space and air, or something.

  • Episode starts.
  • Overly long Toei logo.
  • Overly long Cartoon Network logo.
  • Overly long opening theme.
  • Overly long recap of the last episode.
  • Finally something new starts happening, many minutes into the episode.
  • The scene which lasted one page in the manga lasts many minutes here, showing the reaction of every single character separately.
  • Flashbacks of thing we already saw.
  • Characters look at each other menacingly while telling us stuff we already know.
  • Characters explain something that was literally shown to us two minutes ago, while showing more flashbacks we already saw twenty times.
  • Characters look at each other menacingly.
  • Scene that took one panel in the manga take almost half a minute, completely ruining the timing of the scene.
  • Shows the reactions of every single character.
  • Characters repeat stuff we already know.
  • Poorly adapted scene form the manga.
  • Shows the reactions of every single character.
  • Characters look at each other menacingly.
  • Characters continue to look at each other menacingly for almost a minute.
  • Scene that was quick in the manga goes on for too long.
  • Commercial break, showing wanted posters of characters who aren't even in the episode.
  • Pointless filler scene, telling us things we already know.
  • Even more pointless filler scene, telling us absolutely nothing useful.
  • Pointless filler scene, telling us things we already know.
  • Filler scene that is kind of ok, but takes too long.
  • Scene that was quick in the manga but takes forever here.
  • Reused animation.
  • Characters tell us stuff we already know.
  • Characters look at each other menacingly.
  • Shows the reactions of every single character, one by one.
  • Ok scene.
  • Characters look at each other menacingly for almost an entire minute.
  • They finally start fighting.
  • Dozens of shots of them running towarrds each other.
  • They prepare to punch each other.
  • Dozens of shots of their fists moving towards each other slowly.
  • Shows the reactions of every single character, one by one.
  • The punches are about to connect
  • "To Be Continued."

If you took out the "shows the reaction of every character one by one" and "characters look at each other menacingly", One Piece would be only half as long.

But where would be the fun in that?

We should get back on topic before staff yells at us.

Peridot is incapable of throwing him into space, no character in the show can do that

The lasers are blunt force. They have never once demonstrated anything other than blunt force damage.

No character in the show has been in a fight that literally takes place in an area of space that has oxygen in it. She just has to throw him out of that area and suffocate.

Energy beams aren't blunt force, they're lasers. Blunt force are things like punches or kicks.

>Claim that Peridot would throw him into space

>Debunked

>Wait, nevermind, she can't for some reason

>Claim lasers are blunt force

>Debunked

>Still claim the same without providing evidence

Dude, if you can't accept that your character can lose a fight, you shouldn't pay attention to versus matchups. You should've learned that lesson years ago.

Dude if you cant take a change in argument as anything other than being biased then you shouldnt participate in versus threads at all.

If Luffy's starting at Large Mountain, then the only amp he'd get is from Snakeman which is combat speed only and it gets reset when he snaps his arms back.

She could still manage to land a hit on him with her beam and throw him into space if she's very lucky, its just very unlikely, and she can still do damage with the lasers. Stomp would be if none of her attacks worked at all.

Blunt force energy. They even make the sound of blunt force when hitting solid objects.

I'd take your arguments as something else if you were not as transparent. It's easy to look through your intentions, and you're always like this.

>List wincon

>Enemy has a countermeasure

>Oh, stomp

This is how you work.

Just because Luffy has a way to not get hit by her most effective attacks, it doesn't mean it is a stomp, because if she did hit him, it would work (the lasers would harm him and the beam would paralyse him in a way he wouldn't be able to break out). Stomp would be if it didn't work at all, even if Luffy was hit.

Lasers won't harm someone who is undamaged by an attack stronger than the lasers

Speed amps guarantee he won't be hit ever as he will blitz before she gets to use them

Not its not. In any way shape or form. My intentions are accuracy, plain and simple. New arguments wrre presented thus luffy now stomps regardless of what i previously argued. I will admit here and now that anything i argued for peridot is factuslly wrong.

He was undamaged because they were blunt attacks (gravity).

Just because he has ways to avoid it, it doesn't mean it is a stomp. Stomp would be if he didn't even need to avoid it.
