With the way his immortality works, he can be taken out in SBA matchups by knocking him out or dealing enough damage that it takes him over a day to regenerate (Mid level regeneration can take hours and High-Mid levels of regen is out of the question in SBA matchups as noted in his weaknesses), since the fight takes place outside of his verse, he doesn't have any prepped buds to resurrect into so he's stuck with one body too.
