Piercing damage can basically bypass durability if small enough. Bear claws in this case will be able to tear Lee to shreds. Assuming Lee doesn't have weapons, the bear also just generally has more and bigger parts of their body to hurt Lee. Also the bear is taller, so it could just launch itself at him.

I vote the bear
Piercing damage just gives you more AP via pressure, & under SBA Lee has weapons.

Assuming Lee has access to his standard weapons and abilities from the game, he may have a chance to defeat the bear, but it's still unlikely

Even with the advantage of landing the first attack, it's highly unlikely that Lee would be able to incapacitate or kill the grizzly bear. Grizzly bears are incredibly resilient and powerful animals capable of withstanding a significant amount of damage. Even if Lee were to land a strong blow with a weapon, it's doubtful that it would be enough to take down the bear

Additionaly, Grizzly Bears have powerful jaws and claws that can cause significant damage to their opponents. If Lee were to get withing range of the bear's attacks, he would likely be seriously injured or killed.

Therefore, its highly likely that the grizzly bear would emerge victorious in this scenario. While Lee is a skilled survivor and fighter he would be at a significant disadvantage when facing off against a real-world grizzly bear in a one on one fight....

Isn't Lee at least 9-B in durability like the grizzly? Though I'll count your vote later if it's legit.

While Lee is tough and resilient its unlikely that he has the same level of durability as a real life grizzly bear. Grizzly bears are incredibly powerful and tough animals, with thic fur, tough skin, and dense bones that allow them to withstand significant amounts of damage.

In contrast, Lee is a human character and while he may be tough and able to with stand some damage, hes still vulnerable to serious injury or death. Even with his access to weapons and combat training, it's doubtful that he would be able to survive a direct attack from a grizzly bear.

While Lee may have some advantages in terms of strategy and tactics, the sheer size, strength, and durability of a grizzly bear would likely make it almost impossible for him to win in a one on one fight👍

If both are same durability, that would just mean both are able to hurt each other the same way 2 normal people can. However imagine fighting a person who's as strong as you, but is a foot taller, coated in thick skin and fur, and has wolverine claws. Meanwhile you're still just some dude.

What stops lee from scarring the bear away? Even if don't kill a hit from a axe into a bear wouldn't be enough to make the bear run away?

Surviving stincts would say to the bear run away if what he is fighting can damage him like that, there is a reason you can get your self to look bigger to make a bear run away

Its possible that a hit from an axe or other weapon could scare the bear away, especially if its a non lethal blow. However its important to remember that grizzly bears are powerful and unpredictable animals, and they may not easily scared off by a human.

In fact, Grizzly Bears are known to be higgly territorial and aggresive, and they may attack humans if they feel threated or provoked. Even a non lethal blow from a weapon could provoke a bear and cause it to become more aggressive, putting Lee in even more danger. Additionally, grizzly bears have a highly developed sense of smell, and they may be attracted to the scent of blood or the presence of food, which could make them even less likely to run away from a human

In short while it's possible that a hit from an axe or other weapon could scare a bear away, its not a guaranteed strategy, and it could even put Lee in more danger if the bear becomes more agressive as a result.
