1. MK Kratos typically saves Medusa's head for a fatality, otherwise I assume he would start the same way his canon counterpart would.
2. Because MK Kratos is presumably weaker, If Canon Kratos would be more fair I'll change it.

Actually this is just the same Kratos so idk why would he change his character. He just got ripped out of his universe by Shao Kahn and got really angery because of that.
MK Kratos has 12 megatons vs Reinhard's 6.3 megatons. If you use the canon version he's 30 megatons to Reinhard's baseline AP. So yeah I guess you should keep it like that.
