King of the Beasts vs Monster King | Grace

Like in drunk martial arts but without the emotional cycles
You're literally trying to find comparaisons in "both are drunken and fight". They're nothing alike as far as Kaido himself has shown.
Why he should be trapped? He won't get smaller, some parts of his body will and if kaido grabs them other parts of Orochi's body will attack him
Because between Kaido and Orochi's lifting is a whole tier's difference in Kaido's favor. In Kaen Daiko he can even push back Bajrang Gun which is two tiers over Orochi's anything LS related as far as I can see.
Not if Orochi does like luffy did against enel, without thinking
Assuming he can shut his brain off and use instinctive reactions.
Then the difference in AP doesn't count, but Orochi has still a greater versatility that will help him with becoming impredictable and he can uses martial arts to completely protect himself
But he doesn't have greater versatility, he just has a higher attack rate and skill. Kaido's Got empowerment, Kenbunshoku, can create invisible barriers, invisible slashes, danmaku projectiles that are his size (so bigger than Orochi), and can spam Boro Breath with varying sizes. And he's got greater temperatures than anything Orochi took on.

How durable is Orochi, anyway? For the record, when Kaidou gets completely serious and is in his most powerful drunk mode ( forgot the name of it ), he could actually seemingly stop Luffy's heart in one hit and knock him out for a moment before Luffy awakened and got back up. If Orochi is more durable than Luffy or more of a damage sponge then I guess my point is irrelevant.

Dude, Kaido as 'the strongest' is stronger than the exaton value, and he got so much stronger post-Luffy that:
-He got so empowered Luffy had to use a form x4 stronger to keep up with his drunken empowered states
-He one shot Gear 4 with Thunder Bellow Bagua after a long fight until Luffy pushed the air back into his mouth and tanked an attack that previously used a x4 amp on top of G4
-One shot it again the second time after failing to one'shot the first time and KILLED Luffy

He got so much stronger during that fight

Yeah honestly I'm still voting Kaidou. There's a size difference but it doesn't matter, as others have pointed out he's fought with Luffy while the latter was enlarged and even had him inside his stomach, looking like a scaly blue pufferfish, and he survived.

But he doesn't have greater versatility
  • Metamorphosis: Orochi's body is made up of writhing, monstrous dragons, which he coils together into various forms, shapeshifting and changing his structure as needed, taking on multiple forms for different situations. To use the full extent of his abilities and fight at his best, Orochi transforms into a more humanoid form, still made up of the same snapping dragons, wound together like muscle fibers. Thanks to his unique physiology, Orochi can stretch his body to lash out with draconic tendrils, change in size, generate Monster Cells, and breathe fire or release blasts of energy.
  • Elasticity: Orochi could stretch and deform his physical shape like taffy whether in his concealed or natural forms. Orochi was able to stretch his arms a good distance away, only to also snap it back like a rubber band afterwards.
  • Shapeshifting: On top of transforming his limbs into dragon-like worms, he could make his coils sheathe and project tooth-like protrusions to act as his fingernails. Indicating that he had some form of transformation capacity beyond just mode shifting. He had gotten larger from his initial monster form back when he first became a monster, suggesting some control over his size.
  • Tendril Generation: Orochi's body could unravel into a nest of dragon-headed tendrils with their own faces, claws and fangs which they used to bite and scratch. After assimilating an enemy's fighting style, he could also use their skills and tendrils in conjunction with his multitudinous serpentine limbs.
  • Horn Manipulation: Orochi could extend his horns over long distances. He destroyed metal knight's drone with a strike from his horn. They are incredibly heavy yet able to change and alternate their trajectory while maintaining, and possibly gaining, momentum the further along they travel

that is literally all BODY CONTROL. It's one thing. And Kenbunshoku basically negates 80% of Orochi's chances of hitting him with any of the unpredictable things.

This turned out to be more interesting than I expected. I hope more OPM supporters show up, this is a good fight.

Any votes I forgot to add?

Not reading all of this, so can anyone summarize the wincons for both of them?
Kaido has a massive LS advantage, precog, unpredictability with shuron hakke, extremely high temps, and quick as hell transformations as well as barrier creation, elemental and invisible attacks, and occasionally higher speed (going FTE to G5 Luffy and whatnot)

Orochi has far better danmaku, technique mimicry and Gaia Cannon's noticeable AP boost, and high temps of his own
