Ooh, this is a good one. Honestly, my initial thought is Akainu, because he has intangibility and is made of magma. However that stil has to contend with Kenshiro's overwhelming skills.
Kenshiros physical blows may not at first reach him(this if his copying abilities can somehow copy Haki since Haki is a universal thing like ki or chakra Ken is capable of hypothetically using its two forms and thus adding it with his style.)
Than his energy projectiles should be able to do the trick, or you know he could coat his hand with ki and punch akainu with it(Haki is once again energy that flows through all of the once piece verse like ki, so a ki covered punch sould be able to physically hurt akainu.) gento no Kens cellar erasing properties could slice akainu in half, or Nanto could do that.
Normal Magma has almost no affect to Ken, he's been covered in lava itself and had no affect on him. Even liquids capable turning bones to ash could not do anything to him. Neither the aura of hokuto Ryuken which is capable of liquifying steel casually. So no advantage their for akainu.
Overall Ken has the superior fighting style, more hax's techniques, is stronger than akainu, resistant to his magma. So Ken wins.
Going with Kenshiro as well. Intangibility because of Logia is mostly nullified because Kenshiro should also have haki and even if Akainu can disperse (something I don't remember him doing), Kenshiro's techniques have a wide enough area of effect to still affect him. That and also considering he's more versatile and haxed than Akainu.
Is the verse equalized? Also the whole Haki thing if I remember correctly Akainu ignored both Marco's and Vistas attack when they were using Haki. Considering that both are Yonkou commander their Haki should be up there. And how good is Kens heat resistance? Akainu was able to melt a large hole in stone easily and even evaporated steel by it being around him. ( Pre time skip)
@Knightofannihilation666 Ken was able to casually take real lava being poured on him. Also he faced off against hokuto ryuken and their auras are hot enough to melt a thick steel wall easily as well.So it's safe to say he can handle the heat of akainus lava.
Well heat isn't hax-based, heat of different intensities have different AP. Anyone who's like, Building level can tank lava, and it's not an ability, it's just because of their durability. Akainu's lava is obviously much hotter so heat resistance isn't gonna do much here
Melt or evaporate? Because like I said Akainu has EVAPORATED steel and even an iceberg EFFORTLESSLY. Akainu's magma isn't like normal Magma it's much hotter.
^ it's a blurry line that. Authors definitely do not write heat that way. Its really just PIS. Heat/=AP. You'd get sime ridiculous results if you matched up real life lava heat and increase it to match Akainus ap. it would be very close to as hot as the core of the sun.
@Prom well (correct me if I'm wrong.) from what I learn from previous users is that heat iself ignores durability to a certain extent if your body or the material in question cannot handle or isn't meant to take in heat. So for anyone else who doesn't have heat resistance, akainus AP plus the heat of his lava would be more effective than it normally is.
Now as I pointed out ken has showcased he can handle high levels of heat up that of lava and the heat needed to melt steel. Now am I saying akainus heat is that of lava, no it could be higher but we don't know that do for now a low ball estimate of saying he's as hot as lava itself or the heat needed to melt stone or steel(whichever is higher I presume.)
So overall though. Akainus heat won't be a factor or an edge for him.
