Its definitely conceptual manipulation.

Sukuna couldn't bypass infinity directly so instead he cut the space in the world in which Gojo exists or occupies. And by severing that space, Gojo was slashed as well for existing in it.

This is not how it works in vsbw.

But I am not going to get involved in jujutsu kaisen powerscaling as I promised.
 
but what I'm confused about is when did this happen? Was this with the initial time he used it, which would mean that Mahoraga cut him the entire time but only after he beat Sukuna did he final feel the effects or did Sukuna just resummons him and have him cut him off screen...? Or did Sukuna use that Slash as he can use Shikigami techniques and mahoraga's slash is a different thing from his own and just did it off screen?

I hate this off-screen stuff after how the last chapter ended?

Dont worry Gojo is just gonna have a second enlightenment. He is then gonna acsend to a different plane of reality so that Sukunas new attack wont effect him
 
I knew I was right to be skeptical about Mahoraga inheriting Sukuna's CT especially since Mahoraga's slash cut Gojo's arm off cleanly while Gojo withstood the onslaught of Sukuna's Domain which spams Dismantle and Cleave relentlessly with cut marks

The worst part is that dumbasses r really gonna take Gege’s stupid narrative changes and apply them. Like if u seriously believe Sukuna was “holding back” in the fight then idk what to tell u
 
Infinity is Type 2 Concept, existing everywhere in space, so when Mahoraga adapted to Infinity the second time he gained the ability to cut through space itself rather than just bypassing the Infinity barrier around Gojo, pretty cracked. I think a lot of JJK fans off-site didn't realise the implication of Infinity existing as a fundamental concept.
 
Tfw the fight was literally Gojo absolutely violating Sukuna and making him his bitch just for Sukuna to suddenly go “I can cut space now lolz”

Sorry for the rant but this chapter really ruined my day with how stupid it is
 
Sukuna wasn't going all out in the sense that he didn't show all his abilities, which is true, and it's not debatable as we know he has a fire technique that he didn't use, Gojo was aware that Sukuna didn't use everything which is why he said "I'm not sure if I will win if he didn't have the 10S".

I think the implication is that Sukuna was holding back an ability/technique even if he was being pressed in a physical confrontation. We still don't know the true nature of Sukuna's cursed technique or if it's linked to the fire arrow, we don't know what the box technique is, Sukuna didn't use his cursed tools he had in his Heian form and Yorozu's gift is still unknown

This doesn’t really count as “not going all out”. If Sukuna’s fire technique could have countered Infinity from the beginning, there’s no reason he wouldn’t have used it

Sure he didn’t end up using every weapon in his arsenal but it wouldn’t have made a difference in outcome

I kinda agree with this tho, we knew that Mahoraga's technique was doing some funky stuff when it cut Gojo's arm off but to then have Sukuna be able to copy that adaptation out of nowhere and have the chapter open up like Gege accidently skipped a chapter and offscreening Gojo was pretty janky.

this, also wtf was gojo waffling about when he said he didn't make sukuna go all out, sukuna knows the threat gojo poses and required 10 shadows to fight him
