This is a pretty interesting fight, since their almost the same character in combat (Hell, Diego tries to do to Johnny what Jotaro tried to do to DIO) despite being so different design and personality wise.

Rules: This is Jotaro at the end of Part 3. Battle takes place in Cario. Both have prior knowledge. Otherwise SBA.

Explain further, please. Diego probably was in his universe's Steel Ball Run up to the point Valentine put him into the main universe, so he probably has good expirience, too.

We don't know that, we don't know if he even had complicated fights or how much equal to the original Diego he is, only what he did. Jotaro has a lot of fights on his side, overpowered DIO's The World many times and knows that if you don't move in an enemy's stopped time you can then move to restart its duration and leave the opponent immobilized in the time left when their stopped time ends.

Because Jotaro won against DIO due to the latter's arrogence and due to getting the jump on him with time stop. Alternate World Diego isn't going to flamboyantly drop a steamroller on Jotaro and waste his entire time stop doing so.
