You didn't know this, but Joseph used his infinite prep time to build a time machine and time travel to Part 6, steal Jotaro's disc just after Pucci steals Star Platinum, plants it upon himself and gained Star Platinum just before this fight, and traveled just before Giorno would use the arrow and himself and stabbed SP with it instead, paradoxing GER out of existence.

Change it to Jotaro. To win with GER he just needs to say "so it's the same type of Stand" and he gains all of its abilities
