Both characters murdered children for what they thought was the greater good, end up getting beaten/killed by their kids, think they are far to gone to be redeemed, and have loved ones who will never forgive them for what they did even after their redemption.

Both at 7-c.

New Hope Vader.

Speed Equalized.

Darth Vader by wraithdt
Badass father!

vs.
Asgore
Asgore Dreemurr, King of Monsters

asgore needs to be precize to attack, his flames are reliant on his hands, his redtrident doesent help here, as mercy and running are not on the table and he can be oneshotted by bloodlust and intent to kill (and no, frisks attacks where nowhere near multiverse level)

In the Genocide route they were.

I'm not quite sure what's stopping Vader from mind haxing here. Asgore only has AP advantage and minor soul manipulation here.

Disney Canon Vader doesn't do that in character. Especially not at the time of A New Hope.

Asgore will win this due to being far faster (have you all seen how fast he can attack with his trident, even when he was holding back?) and I haven't heard of Darth Vader having any resistance to Soul manipulation

EDIT: Oops! Didn't realize speed was equalized. In that case, Vader wins via force choke, some precog, etc.

he disables peapole from runnong and having mercy.... which are already disabled, he even lets the enemy the first attack and barely goes in close combat. the forse oneshots him

Also, speed is equalized. And even then, Vader's reactions are augmented by precog.

Asgore's soul manipulation isn't an instant-hitter like Sans. He needs to hit the opponent with his trident or his fire magic in order to deal SOUL damage. The trident isn't making it through Vader's lightsaber, and the fire projectiles aren't making it through Vader's Force Barrier.

Vader uses Force Choke and calls it a day. Or he just beats the living hell out of Asgore in close-combat.
