Is ki the same as your soul in the dragon ball manga verse?

Someone sent me these scans saying this is proof for ki being the same as your soul in the dragon ball manga verse and if goku (manga version) powered up his ki, soul crush wouldn't work on him.

I don't think that's enough proof to consider Ki, and Soul the same thing; though there is such as thing as lifeforce. Soul is just the ghostly spirt that teleports to the Otherworld when someone dies. And it's not really energy per say.

So, Ki would be more considered like spiritual energy or something like that? Not the same as the soul just plain spiritual energy? Just like how ki was able to be used in the afterlife is what I'm trying to think about it as.

The first scan could just refer to how he feeds himself by killing civilizations, kinda like "hands with the blood of innocents" not being literal.

Plants have Ki since they are living creatures. Stars can't have Ki, because they are not living creatures.
When King Kai was telling Goku what sources he could pull from, he only ever described it as "energy", rather than "Ki" or "life force".

Anyway, Ki has only ever been described as "life force" (by Kami) and "the body's latent power" (by Gohan).

Then why is Chakra treated as Soul in this Wiki when it's basically the same case?

1.When Goku Black and Ginyu swapped their bodies, they kept their Ki.
2.When Cell and Moro absorbed Millions of people , Goku / Piccolo could see their Souls when they powered up.
3. Ki translates to spirit and has been refered to as spiritual energy on many occasion. Then we have the above shown scans who kinda prove that point
4. When Vegeta used his hax, he separated Ki/Souls from Moro which then went to their original owner effectively ressurecting them.

Not sure about this but when the characters in Dragon Ball die, no one will be able to sense their Ki (their Ki is gone) but the soul remains. There is of course a lot of evidence to prove they are one and the same, as was the case with Black, Ginyuu and Moro. It could also be argued that they would have a dead soul separate from their alive soul, the same way they possessed the physical body either alive or dead with the only difference being the crown ring. and unable to return to mortal universe as was the case with Goku in Buu saga. Also when the characters in DB die and only souls are left, they will completely lose their power and become powerless (as goku said in Cell saga it's the fate of the bad guys), however Frieza trained himself to be much stronger with only soul and tied to a cocoon (possibly why King Yemma was scared of Frieza, reminding goku to kill him off earth to he doesn't take over Frieza's soul anymore).

You are technically not weong but the exact same things apply to Chakra as well and the Wiki accepts Chakra as Soul. Just criticising the lack of consistency

99% sure chakra has enough different mechanics and implicationd to warrant that, chakra and ki are not totally comparable

Chakra is treated as soul on this Wiki? That's weird. Chakra has to be created.

they will completely lose their power and become powerless
I don't remember this ever being stated. And there are multiple scenes that imply otherwise. Raditz's soul was able to fight Enma, Goku's soul was able to lend Gohan power, and Frieza amped his strength by training as a soul.
