Hm...this is tough one, so I'll go over each fighter individually and point out their strengths

Tony: Much smarter than Garnet, his suits have analysis systems that can probably figure out Garnet is a hologram with two gems as projectors, resists electrical manipulation because an older suit has dealt with Thor's lightning before, has much more reliable range with missiles and repulsor blasts, can call in additional parts for the suit to better suit the situation, has a cage he can call in that the Hulk couldn't break out of except by digging through the ground, and the defenses of the HB armor are strong enough to handle Hulk blows. Because HB is much bigger proportioned than Tony himself, Garnet also has a chance to miss his body with her punches, so his survivability is increased

Garnet: Much more experienced that Tony, used to fighting creatures and Gems bigger than her, her Future Vision can help her avoid attacks, her stretching her arms can negate Tony's range advantage, can resist the heat made by the repulsor rays, her Regenerationn will make her difficult to put down, has unlimited stamina.

So far, it looks like it's leaning more towards Tony, but it's still up in the air right now.

Garnets precog and huge experience advantage alone would be a massive detriment to tony here. That and he only has a limited number of missiles and relies almost solely on cqc in the hulkbuster.

Not really, he used his repulsor blasts on Hulk in Age of Ultron. Plus, I'm sure he has more ammo in the Veronica thing, he was preparing for the Hulk after all.

We were both discussing in a Garnet fight the other week and I made the argument that her FV is inconsistent at best because she still has gotten beaten in fights before and there are entire plotlines in the show dedicated to her freaking out because she can't predict the future. I still believe that it won't be extremely helpful in this fight

He only used repulsed blasts twice in the whole fight, the rest was him punching Hulk and ramming him into things, Hulkbuster is designed to be a cqc tank to subdue the Hulk not something that can viably range spam the opponent. And more ammo =/= unlimited ammo.

And once again i will point out that saying her fv is inconsistent is wrong. She freaked out because her future vision is unable to predict things that are inherrently extremely unlikely (ie. Pearl pretending to be Peridot and threatening earths safety just so she could fuse with Garnet, Steven going on a suicide mission to homeworld alone, etc.). There are numerous times where it has shown to be immensely useful in both combat and non-combat scenarios.

Hell even in the episode it debuted in it had her dominate an opponent using her future vision to deflect all of their attacks and strike a weak point

And again, she didn't predict Jasper poofing her, the Cluster Failures that gave her that massive panic attack, Yellow Diamond attacking and defusing the Crystal Gems, and had that entire freakout episode where she wanted to do the least likely thing at every moment because she couldn't handle being wrong.

Yes, ridiculous and extremely unlikely events are seen by her, but she filters through them to decide which to choose based on her current info. She knows nothing about Tony, so she has no idea what's truly possible. At least in the other instances, she knew something about them to influence her decision.

In addition, she has to focus in order to clearly see the future. If she's interrupted, the vision falters and she can't tell what's going to happen (see "Marble Madness"). Tony's not going to let her sit still to think long enough for her to get an accurate prediction. He's on the offensive at all times in most of his fights in the MCU.

Finally, based on the setup, she has no idea that Veronica exists, so the prison being deployed will be a huge system shock to her. I still think this'll be a close fight, but so far it's leaning towards Tony for me.

Another point, while HB is meant to be a CQC tank because of how Hulk fights, he does have range options including missiles and repulsors in his hands. Plus he has that one arm meant to hold Hulk still that should be able to hold Garnet's gauntleted hand still. One punch barrage later and Garnet's having a bad time.

Garnet has higher lifting strength than the hulk and higher range with her ranged attacks, him trying pin her or outrange her isnt going to work

A punch barrage wont do much of anything as Garnet has an AP and dura advantage too

The cluster failures gave her a panic attack because theyre both a complete and total bastardization of her entire existence as a fusion and the result of seeing her former allies torn apart and sewn back together as frankenstein-esque experiments. The freakout episode was her testing the power to figure out why she couldnt predict some of the things that Steven did and she learned at the end that she couldnt do so because he did things that were so immensely improbably that she couldnt predict them.

She doesnt need to know anything about him, she sees all scenarios that could happen, as was the case with stuff like the Harmony Core where she saw all the things that could happen by interacting with it before she even knew what it was. Same with the situations where she saw the events of entire days which she passed onto Steven.

No, she does not need to focus, there are numerous, numerous instances where she gets visions either passively or just by looking at something.

If he tries to trap her she just punches her way out or punches the ground to break ffree.
