Also, just another quick note, John (as well as Cole by extension) should have Stats Amplification, Power Nullifcation and Electricity Manipulation

At 4:40, states he can amplify Cole's powers. Does so by making Cole strong enough to function in an area without power. Should be able to amplify his own powers, since Counduits get stronger from absorbing energy and Ray Field Radiation

Also in the same video, produces electricity for Cole to use.

At 7:51 John drains and breaks Cole's powers. This causes Cole to lose several of his techniques, and even required him to get Zeke to make him a device (the Amp) to help focus his powers. John would have probably drained more of Cole's power had Cole not blown his head off in a desperate act of self preservation. Of course, he soon regenerated and glasses Empire City. And weakness of this is that it appears that John needs to make physical contact to sap someone's powers, though, considering he can boost others abilities just by being near them, this might not be the case.

It might also be Power Absorption, since Cole claimed John had drained him, which is supported by the fact John could later generate electricity.

Any thoughts on power nullification? He did take away part of Cole's powers, and weakened him overall. A major part of the story is Cole trying to regain all of the power he lost while fighting the Beast as well as get stronger than before to avoid another loss.

What nevermind, it sounds more like it's just power absorption. He just weakens them but taking away their powers
