In the MCU, does the Infinity Gauntlet only work in just its own Universe, or does that not apply anymore?

Just a curious question, since ik that, despite its Infinite 4-D/Neigh 5-D Power that could likely delete even the DB Heroes Characters (And even perhaps the 2-A/Non High 2-A Characters), it's limited to its own Universe in the comics.

However, is it confirmed ONCE that it only works in JUST its own Universe in the Movies?

I don't think it's shown to have that weakness at all, and the MCU hasn't brought up parallel universes like that yet.
