if a weapon is based on a real life weapon does it mean it has the same range and attack power?

this sniper rifle is based on the Snipex Alligator, tatem games (creators of the carnivores series is from ukraine which this rifle was created), which has a effective firing range of 2,000 meters while having a maximum firing range of 7,000 meters. while its muzzle velocity is 980 m/s. Also the ammunition type is a 14.5 x 114mm (.57 caliber) which if you use kkv version has around 33,000 joules of energy. (the hei version has 29000 joules).

If the weapon is based on this. does this necessarily mean it has 9-B attack potency and several kilometers range?

The default standard is that weapons based on real world weapons are the same statistics; exception of course is that they consistently display unrealistically extreme feats that make them appear much stronger; usually in the form of toon physics. But without its own destruction feats or on screen speed and range feats, we default to just comparing any non magical or non awkwardly named supermetal named firearm to what their real world counterparts would be.

so match it with its real world counterpart.

then what is the range for these weapons?

Pistol

Shotgun

X-Bow and Hd version

Db shotgun

Rifle and HD version

so what are the ranges for these ones. because some of them do not mention what they are based on and while some of them do mention the type of bullet, they don't mention which type. also some of these guns, they are different in carnivores dinosaur hunter HD like with the X-bow, the rifle, and the sniper rifle i mentioned.

We have a number of pages for real life weapons. For most of those, you should find something similar there and use that range. For the X bow, the page you linked lists it’s range. For the laser rifle, you should figure out what weapon in game it has a similar range to that has a real world counterpart.
Also, it’s important to keep in mind for vs matches that a character using a real world weapon doesn’t necessarily mean they have the accuracy to consistently fire at its maximum effective firing range.

yeah but i can't find what the revolver is based on. the laser rifle is just the rifle but with a laser.
