See I'm seeing a lot of inherent issues, I take great issues with it comes to scaling like "will surpass", that much is irrelevant to me due Dry not being Pray's equal as of yet. Also giving praise isn't necessarily a great skill feat, my judo teacher can praise me but again that doesn't mean we're on the same level. As for Fear, didn't Dry have access to the Malanda which is pretty hax from what Rocker is telling me? It wouldn't take much in the skill department to match someone whenever you have Reality Warping and probability based precog. As far as I'm concerned statements of "not taking much to surpass her." whenever his feats and fights say otherwise.
The difference between your judo teacher and Pray is that he probably wont make fun of you and your deceased friends and family for being too weak while you're in the middle of grieving :>. Like i said, Pray is haughty and bratty, vindictive, cruel and prideful. She sees humans as literall vermin not worth entertaining, she puts down everyone because she knows whatever shit shes saying is true. If you dare to fight her she will, best case scenario, disable you, worse case, outright kill you. And trust me, she prefers the worst case. Pray aknowledging and praising Dry is not me trying to grasp at straws but the series literally telling you, as a reader, that yeah, its a honestly a coinflip, with the odds being skewered towards Pray currently. In the fight between Fear and Dry, Fear instantly sealed off Mandala before they crossed swords. There is a reason why Mandala is currently featless lol.
Experience makes all the difference, Fear is much, much younger than Pray and hasn't the type of combat experience that Pray has gathered throughout the years. The fact that Pray is still much more experienced than Fear makes that statement null, she hasn't lived through what Pray has or gone through the type of battles she has, i think it's pretty incorrect to that that Fear >>>> Pray in skill whenever Pray is the more experienced of the two, by turn making her skill much more honed.
Yes you're actually, right, even Knight Run itself points that out. But the same series puts a huge emphasize on Fear being > Pray, it was a statement made by someone who knew Pray even from before she became a Knight Trainee and was there on every of her exploits, telling everyone outright that Fear has surpassed Pray, not just surpassed but surpassed her
in her prime
That doesn't tell me much about how effective it is or the type of martial arts that they use. Not every martial arts is automatically useful, look at Aikido and Tai Chi for example, if i could get some more information on the Fighting style that'd be rad, I'm sure it's impressive but that doesn't give me a lot to work with.
There is not much known about those martial arts, only that they are considered legendary. Its not that important either, its about the fact that the Mayer Style takes those martial arts, condensed it into the Mayer Style and makes them fit for combat. The Mayer Style is not a hotpot of Tai Chi, Aikido and other junk, it takes the greatest martial arts, strips them down and perfect them for combat, unified under the system of the Mayer Style. Generally speaking, useless martial arts dont exist in Knight Run, reason being that a large chunk of human history is permeated with war, only things proven on the battlefield are considered noteworthy
By how much? While Zoro doesn't have feats against multiple opponents who are stronger than himself (well actually yes, Kaido and Linlin are both stronger than him but he also had help.) he does very often find himself in situations where in 1 v 1 combat where he can't even
damage no matter how
hard he tried. This Zoro didn't have Prediction at the time but he overcame someone who's immune to slashing based attacks via sheer skill.
Anne barely passed the physical tests for a Knight. She got a synthetic body as the series progressed, for plot reason. For your average Knight, a synthetic body spelled retirement. For Anne it was a huge upgrade to her strength. I think there were more drastical comparasons, like Anne being a normal human compared to other Knights and stuff.
How often does Dry spam them? That's not on the profiles so I'm not gonna argue against it.
At the beginning of the series, not so much. Where we are currently? Opened up with the move Once on screen and several times off screen. Dry has reached a stage where he can spam it in conjunction with his fire. its in the more recent translated chapters, thats why its currently not on the profile. This is a answer to you too Rocker, there are a couple of smaller abilities not added to the profile, because the amount is so little that i honestly woudnt bother with it. The curse of waiting for Knight Run Chapters... I can fetch you a scan for the whole curse thing later Gin.
