How are the two mha movies Cannon

Is that an official statement or that person's opinion. They didn't refer to Nine appearing in the manga, the trip itself being referenced in the manga, and literally hand waved away tons of reasons on why it should be canon. "Trust Bones, it isn't canon" is stupid when the film explicitly spoils things that revolve around the timeline Horikoshi said it takes place in.

"It was supervised by Horikoshi but that doesn't mean anything because it doesn't refer to manga events" is false and discredits their entire argument.

Seems like someone's opinion rather than facts. A bad opinion at that.

Also, the movie absolutely depends on the time frame to make sense. Endeavors scar, Air Force gloves, revealing Deku's multiple quirks, Shigaraki's hand and coat, the Doctor. All of these are explicit spoilers that exist in the time frame Horikoshi gave. They are not independent of the story, they depend on it.

This lady doesn't seem to know what she's talking about.

Yeah but some people just believe fake information and say "ok you believe it's cannon while I'll think it's nothing more then a what if movie"

Tell them they're wrong. Movie is canon, manga and author statements prove it. Nine appearing and the trip to Nabu being referenced = gg. Time frame is perfect for what we saw as well. Don't see how it can be discredited, especially when the first movie was exclusively called canon.

And that's irrelevant. Actual Word of God says it is connected to the manga, hence it's canon. There's nothing to dicuss here.
