Homestuck Upgrade discussion

The tier 1 stuff is more for the other thread but yeah. There's at least 3 others Homestuck revisions waiting to be done anyway.

If LE gets his 1-A stuff, he will be outright 1-A

If High 1-C string theory gets spared, he will be At least High 1-C, likely 1-B

If he gets downgraded, he will be At least Low 1-C

I was thinking, shouldn't we make the 1-A revision now? Since tier 1 is the most discussed for Homestuck and this thread just need more attention.

Okay, so, I'm rewatching Voxus's series on Homestuck for these revisions and I'll add some thoughts as I go.

Firstly, the fact that John's specibus can be used to launch pieces of his inventory at high speeds should likely be mentioned under his range, as seen in this video here: https://youtu.be/QfrL-84fX9g. I remember other characters doing this as well, such as Dave, albiet, I haven't gotten to that video yet.

Furthermore, I'm wondering about the possibility of scaling the kids to their guardians. Not directly, of course, the kids are clearly weaker. But, Dave still takes an intense beatdown from Beo and had been trained by him sense the moment he was in diapers. That might just be a thing for him though, the fights with the ithers kids abd their guardians abd considerably more tame and not entirely applicable to fights. Especially Jade, because, well, she's fighting a stuffed corpse.

Also, should the stuff the kids can do with the SBURB disk be taken into account at all? Obviously, it'd be incredibly circumstantial for those powers to be combat applicable, but it might still be worth mentioning. Stuff like moving furniture, expanding the house, etc.

Strife Specibus stuff is already in the first part of the revision.

Scaling the kids to their guardians is a no. A drunk adult-Roxy was able to dodge Rose's attacks without even trying and most of them doesn't even has the need to really their kids. Bro is honestly just playing with Dave during his daily domestic abuse, to the point of just letting Lil Cal on Dave and watching him struggle for nothing.

Agree with Yuki here.

Also, the SBURB stuff should definetly be added, they use it through the entire series.

I'm pretty sure no one use it after Act 4 (except ARquiusprite). It's more SBURB mechanic + something limited to their client planet, so it's kind of useless.

Since she explains what happened in Homestuck, the "created multiples universes" most likely refers to Billious Slick/the reward at the end of Hibevent.
