I'd give Base Mario vs Demigod Heracles to Mario. He is just that more versitile.

However, God Heracles would demolish Mario.

Now if this was God Heracles (whose unknown but is supposed to be a lot stronger than his Demigod/Mortal form)? Yeah i'd give it to him more actually.

We can scale God Hercules from Apollo, actually. He'd likely be 5-A.

Alright gotta bump this a bit. So it's basically 3 for Mario (one didn't really give a reason so i cannot count that here), 0 for Heracles...

Since Heracles is already supposed to be stronger than all of the Olympians(save maybe for Zeus) in his mortal form, I'd give this to Heracles whatever form he is in. Versatility would only factor into a potential element of surprise from Mario's part. Vote for Heracles.
