how does Shinra Kusakabe's time stop and time travel work?

By going at the speed of light time around him stops and by going beyond it he goes back in time yet I think he can still fairly fight people despite that.

Oh ok so it works via general relativity? Cuz if so, heatblast should be able to keep up with that

Though FTL is pretty vague. This fight really just comes down to a speed calc to see if either of them blitzes before we talk about anything else

If there's no calc then we should assume baseline, I can also equalize speed if that helps but I didn't equalize speed to prevent headaches (someone speeding up but still moving as fast) in the first place.
