So here's the deal. GIFfany and Rumble McSkirmish are considered 10-C, but recent changes in R>F transcendence, although wanky and causing many people to play Whack-a-Mole with many characters, had reduced entities seen as fiction to entities seen as normal people to 11-A at most. Personally, I see reasons why these two can be considered 11-A, but for GIFfany, I can also see why she wouldn't be considered as such.
Reasons for 11-A Rumble McSkirmish
Reasons for 11-A GIFfany
- GIFfany is clearly shown to be a video game character, specifically a game similar to Doki Doki Literature Club (although at the time she made her debut, nobody was even remotely aware of Doki Doki yet)
Reasons Against 11-A GIFfany
So with that, I hope re-evaluation would help decide these two's entities.
Reasons for 11-A Rumble McSkirmish
- Rumble McSkirmish is clearly seen as a video game character from an arcade machine, specifically a Street Fighter parody.
- Unlike GIFfany, Rumble requires a cheat code to get anywhere near the real world.
- GIFfany had shown multiple times to be able to interact with the real world, both in concept art and in the show. GIFfany had attacked a developer who tried to undo his work on GIFfany and had traveled through actual 3D entities: power lines. GIFfany made a robot dog work without even trying. When shit got real, GIFfany even walked through arcade cabinets within other fictional worlds while possessing an animatronic. Showings of GIFfany walking alongside the animatronic she was possessing would show that GIFfany had a clear influence on technological entities from Gravity Falls' idea of the real world. A concept art of her even showed GIFfany physically reaching out into the real world through the screen.: https://gravityfalls.fandom.com/wiki/.GIFfany/Gallery#Artwork
Whoever made the show clearly intended for GIFfany to be capable of consciously interacting with the "real world" of the Gravity Falls verse. - While Rumble McSkirmish is bound by his code, the only association GIFfany had with her code is a failsafe implemented within the game, and said failsafe could only be done through physical destruction of her game disc. Even then, destroying her disc only managed to (painfully) detach her from her code.
- Despite the destruction of her game disc, which melted an entire animatronic by the way, the physical copy of Journal 3 shows that GIFfany had still survived and decided to date Rumble McSkirmish. Normally any amount of destruction to a 3D entity would infinitely eviscerate a 2D entity and yet GIFfany survived a chain reaction event that melted a FNaF animatronic.
- I mean come on; Bill Cipher's burning the entire second dimension down out of pure boredom; how the frick can 2-dimensional entities exist after that incident?
So with that, I hope re-evaluation would help decide these two's entities.
