I could be remembering wrong, but i know for a fact you cant do anything to him exvept pray. Unless they lost the melodies, which i don't think they did it shouldnt be a weakness.
I mean, the melodies were never a weapon, nor an item or something. They where sung by the kids in Mother 1 to weak Guiege by reminding him of his mother. In Mother 2, you collect them in the sound stone, and once you collect them all, Ness creates magicant, wich he later absorbs and becomes Low-2C. That should be changed, the only way to defeat Giygas in Mother 2 is by praying.

Would Giygas' psychic powers work on Pennywise anyways? The only enemy Giygas fought who was Universal+ had immunity to mind manipulation so we can't really know if it would work.

If it works then the clown gets rekt cause it's his main weaknesses.

If not i will vote to the clown (Very High Difficulty) via range.

And also, as a plus:

To defeat Pennywise's frue form, the Losers Club had the help of Gan.

Who is 1-A.

And that was only to put the clown down temporarily (What was confirmed in other novels that came after IT).

Being "mindless" doesn't save you from mindhax unless it did so in-canon. That's already been decided numerous times.

That said, I already voted for Giygas for a reason. NLFs aside ("nothing physical or psychic had any effect on him, so all mindhax is useless"? Seriously?), Pennywise is generally outmatched here in terms of psychic ability, at least from what I can tell.

I see, I just wanted to make things clear. The only thing that truly killed/finished Giygas off was contacting the Player himself.
