I wanted to make this thread, but somebody already beat me to it. I wanted to wait for the revision threads for One Piece to finish as well. Once they’re finished, speed won’t have to be equalized, since they’ll both be FTL, and Luffy will have a speed advantage.

In this case, Garou will only be able to hurt Luffy through the Whirlwind Iron Cutting Fist because of Luffy’s blunt force trauma resistance. Then there’s the Roaring Aura Sky Ripping Fist, which I’m not positive will work on Luffy due to his rubber nature. Even if it did, Luffy has taken attacks which ignore durability by targeting organs in his fight when he fought Lucci, and he still continued the battle. He’s gotten significantly stronger since than, and so has his durability and resistance.

Honestly, I was also just thinking to wait until Luffy fights against Blackbeard or Akainu in the upcoming saga, since that might upgrade Luffy and the other top tiers with new feats from Blackbeard’s Gura Gura No Mi.
