Garou resistance to matter manip/deconstruction

I literally said that the black hole feat has the most chances of getting you something.

Ionizing radiation actually doesn't descontruct sub-atomic particles (Because "sub-atomic molecules" don't exist), it just energizes electrons to higher energy levels and can even knock them out of their orbits.

In fact, electromagnetic radiation can't affect the atomic cores of atoms, at all, not matter how high the frequecy is.

By sub atomic deconstruction I didn’t mean splitting apart sub atomic molecules cause those don’t exist of course, I meant splitting sun atomic molecules away from atoms, which is still a level of matter manip
saying garou breaks electrons would be wank lol

The best you could get here is resistance to Sub-Atomic/Macro-Quantum/Quantum scale attacks like Raiden's HF blade for example, due to the black hole feat.
But it would not protect him from direct matter manipulation on those scales.
I'm with Wendigo regarding this.

Just being in a Black Hole wouldn't qualify for this resistance as it fall in the exception rule noted in the P&A profile.

Well the difference is mainly in the fact that gravity effects all things equally, including sun atomic particles, while the things noted in the exceptions don’t really tend to mess with particles and as far as I’m aware would only cause sub atomic deconstruction with some insane amount of AP
even so though, there’s still the matter of ionizing ration being deconstruction by definition, which they did resist effortlessly

As the page says
Note: Natural side effects from powers, such as Energy Manipulation, Fire Manipulation, Vibration Manipulation, and other abilities that can produce enough energy output to destroy or dismantle objects, do not mean that characters automatically qualify for this ability, unless the abilities in question specifically and directly focus on deconstruction in itself, rather than as a consequence.
This power would be deconstruction, not the gravitational effects of a black hole.

What it would mean is that a physical attack that hits on that level wouldn't bypass his durability, but he wouldn't resist Doomsday's aura or anything going by site standards.

I don’t see how the site standards contradict this
from a logical standpoint, people with the type of deconstruction that just splits apart the structures of atoms and such would be resisted, as opposed to proper dura negating erasure based deconstruction
but it’s pretty clear that any deconstruction that uses brute force on a subatomic level, which seems to be the main type I’ve seen, would not be able to kill him

Because he would be gaining it as a byproduct of something else. Its not the focus point of the ability and the page mentions that we shouldn't give someone that resistance because of it.

Sure, but that also wouldn't be deconstruction if the page follows proper site rules.

Deconstruction can happen on a celluar level tbf. Also Neutral overall

Since the standards of the site are pretty clear in regards to this, should this be closed? There's nothing new to add to Garou, he already has resistance to the gravity of a black hole on his page, which is what causes the destruction of the matter, as the article, Newendigo, and Qawsed have stated.

So are you trying to say that his resistance to deconstruction is already overlapped by the resistances on his profile? Or just disagreeing altogether.

He resists having his matter broken to smaller bits via the tidal forces of a black hole. Like Newendigo said, this at best gives him the ability to not be affected by those level of direct attacks like from Raiden's HF blade (i think) and such, but would do nothing against actual dedicated deconstruction and matter manip hax, such as Shigaraki from MHA and Doctor Manhattan respectively

but deconstruction is quite literally just breaking matter into smaller bits. The only difference really is that it's internal but since gravity effects everything inside you too it wouldn't change anything

Yes, but again read the page dedicated to this power:
Note: Natural side effects from powers, such as Energy Manipulation, Fire Manipulation, Vibration Manipulation, and other abilities that can produce enough energy output to destroy or dismantle objects, do not mean that characters automatically qualify for this ability, unless the abilities in question specifically and directly focus on deconstruction in itself, rather than as a consequence.
Deconstruction is a consequence of extreme tidal force, deconstruction is not the direct cause in of itself.

the deconstruction done by a black hole is via the tidal forces ripping it apart via the sheer power of said forces, and not by someone using something like magic to just tap you on the head and crumble you to dust. It's deconstruction sure, but not the most common kind used in fiction and the site

then I'd like to just settle for limited deconstruction manipulation, since it would just be a case by case basis depending on if the deconstruction doesn't use the typical laws of physics to actually force atoms apart

no, it's already covered on his page. The deconstruction a black hole does is as said, caused by the tidal forces literally ripping stuff apart via sheer power of the gravity and such. As Garou already has resistance to the gravity from a black hole on his page, it would be covered by that
