Four Knights of the Apocalypse/Nanatsu upgrade speed

Introdution

In chapter 48, Fiddich was declared to attack with the speed of light and in chapter 49, Lancelot toyed with him. I did a calculation here on this, got 0.88c (Relativistic+), but I think Lancelot should be FTL since he casually joked while he had his hands in his pockets.
I don't think it affects anyone so far.

Conclusion

Fiddich: Speed of Light attack speed with Haste (Declared to attack with the speed of light with its magic)

Lancelot: At least Relativistic+/(FTL??) (Avoided all of Fiddich's attacks while having his hands in his pockets)

Three problems:
1. I don't think it's meant to be taken literally. It's flowery language and is very common.
2. He didn't mention anything about the speed of light when describing his ability in Ch49. He just boasted about how they call him "thunderclap" and how it enhances his speed. But he didn't give any values or descriptions.
3. He is a fodder that is probably not even on the same level as BOS Gilthunder or other Holy Knights. The fastest character in the verse is currently rated as MHS+.

1- Flowery language because you want it, nothing indicates that, the text is literally describing that Percival was half destroyed by Fiddich's light speed attack.
2- He doesn't mention, it doesn't matter, he doesn't talk about a speed or anything like that, he mentions that this skill increases your speed and in the previous chapter we have the quote that is the speed of light, that's it.
3- Headcanon, also, this only scales up to Lancelot, so this argument doesn't work.

The only problem is that Lancelot is most likely below Ban from the beginning of the series, which creates inconsistencies.

I prefer to wait until Lancelot's level is better established.

It is literally the description of the magic
Not from any of the characters.

There isn't a whole lot of evidence that this character's attacks are lightspeed, especially given that in the final volume version of the series that summary will no longer exist. It's just magazine text.

Yes, as far as I know, this is by the author himself

So no actual lightspeed statement in the manga itself. I see.
apparently its stated on the page he showed on the calc.

anyways agreeing. if its stated that the character's attack is SOL, and from a reliable source obviously seeing as it is from the author, then it should be fine applying it unless its contradicted.

Sadly, that is just probably an editor notes, if it was a Q/A form, that is literally from Nakaba, and therefore legit.

It doesn't matter anyway as new databook confirmed Ludoshel's grace as being SOL now.

Work on that.

If the text on the side is just editor's notes / summaries, then yeah, I don't think we can use it. Such things don't get included in the volumes.
