Hi there, back at it again. I've decided before going into the cosmology blog, I will tackle Type-0 individually first so that I have much less work to do later. A lot of what's here and the previous revision will be on the blog anyway (Though that will not come for quite a long while). Naturally, some of this will also scale to the FFXIII cast. Thanks to ZeroNegativ00 for helping out with some of this. Here is some music to put ya in the mood for this, without further ado. Let's begin.

The 4 Peristylium
In the world of Final Fantasy Type-0 known as "Orience", there are 4 Nations who utilize the power of 4 Crystals called "Peristylium" and are nicknamed "The 4 Lights of Hope" (The Vermillion Bird, The Azure Dragon, The White Tiger, and The Black Tortoise) an eerily similar set up to early games in the series. All cadets of the various nations draw power from these crystals to utilize magic and are blessed by them. Now why is this important? As established and accepted in the previous revision, the crystals in the Fabula Nova Universe represent Souls, Divinity and The Origin of Magic (That last part being a direct reference to them). Hajime Tabata even states that this particular sub-series shares the same crystal mythology as the first 6 games. This means that the Crystals in turn should share the same properties, and subsequently would give the cast of Type-0 the blessings/abilities and resistances of The Crystals.

The Crystals themselves are stated multiple times in the story to be able to control the fates of living beings. This is because the Crystals themselves are tied to beings known as "Fal'Cie". This is something that's consistent with the "Lightning Trilogy" where deities are such as Bhunivelze and Etro (also Fal'Cie) are able to do as such, and Fal'Cie are considered "Deities" in this universe. Lastly there are items in the world of Type-0 called 'Relics". These objects are said to be birthed from the Vermillion Bird Crystal and are synced with magic, used for data input and Communication, they also have the ability to manipulate Space-Time, similar to FF1's Four Crystals. In total this would grant Fate Manipulation for the Dominon Crystals (and resistance for Class Zero, and added Data Manipulation to Magic.

L'Cie
As touched on before, L'Cie's are beings (Usually Humans) branded by a Fal'Cie with a crystal shard somewhere on their bodies. These brands grant greatly enhanced physical capabilities and bestows the gift of Magic to those who cannot use it, as well as a give a "Focus" to fulfill. If the Crystals in the World of Fabula Nova are the same as the classic games this would be further justification of The Crystals being added to both Class Zero and FFXIII's kits respectively. L'Cie's in the world of Type-0, are the same as the World of XIII. While they are not the only ones who can utilize magic thanks to the Dominion Crystals. They do have some special abilities showcased that military forces utilizing the crystals power don't have. Such as being able to control technology, create forcefields that can break apart objects upon contact, and are the only ones capable of summoning more powerful Eidolon's called "Verboten Eidolons" which we'll get into later.

Fal'Cie
To reiterate Fal'Cie are deities who brand humans with a crystal shard somewhere on their bodies to become L'Cie. which means L'Cie abilities and immortalities would naturally upscale to them. Fal'Cie are beings who are tied to that of the Crystals Power, which would give them the blessing and abilities of The Crystals. Like humans, Fal'Cie's also possess a "Heart' and "Soul". This will be relevant a little later on due to a very important character in Type 0. For let's focus on the Heart and Soul, or as this game calls them...

Phantoma
Phantomas as mentioned before is the name of the life essence given to Type-0 characters. In game they are referred to as a "Soul", which is established as the fundamental and abstract aspect of every living being, thanks to the "Lightning Trilogy". However this is only scratching the surface. Class Zero can utilize Phantoma's themselves as a power source, rendering the Crystal Jammer which severs someone's connection to the crystals, rendering them unable to utilize magic. This would mean that in order to tamper with Class Zero's power. One must be able to interact with Phantoma, which in turn requires one to be able to interact with Chaos. Something consistent with the "Lightning Trilogy" is the fact that Magic, by itself isn't able to kill the Heart and Soul as seen with character like Orphan being able to take Magic Attacks and come back from it. This is despite the fact that Magic having the same properties and mythology as the crystals from the classic games (1-6), which as a whole is shown to affect a wide variety of different beings, from intangible/immaterial beings to non corporeal beings, to abstract concepts like Chronodia, who's the flow of time itself, to Nonexistent beings like Exdeath and Cloud of Darkness. Which means that even interacting with the heart and soul would require Layered Conceptual Non-Existence Interaction to even interact with the Heart and Soul due to one needing to interact with Chaos. This would also grant Resistance to Power Null with Limited Resistance to Power Modification and Power Absorption for the Soul/Phantoma.

Because Fal'Cie also possess "Hearts" and "Souls" and are tied to that of Crystals. Combining the immortalities provided by the Heart and Soul with L'Cie's physiology and The Crystals would mean that slaying a Fal'Cie permanently requires negating their immortalities which would be all types on a High-Godly scale.

Why is the latter relevant? Because the cast of FFXIII are able to slay the Fal'Cie Orphan. Which would grant them said Immortality and Regen Negation on that scale due to Fal'Cie being tied to The Crystals as well as possessing a "Heart" and "Soul".

The soul/phantomas themselves do have weaknesses, one of which being a bit of a plot point involving one of the main characters, Rem Tokimiya. Rem here suffers from an illness that will eventually kill her, this is due to the fact that her Phantoma was in such a weakened state. She's still able to keep up with members of Class Zero however, so this doesn't affect characters from a combat standpoint, but it is a notable weakness. Another is the fact that while Souls/Phantoma are able to exist so long as people in the living remember them. Should the memory of them be wiped clean from the minds of those who know them, it can effectively destroy a Soul/Phantoma. This is something consistent across FFXIII and Type-0, In the world of FFXIII. The Soulsong is an ability that can erase the Soul on a Historical and Conceptual Level, while The Crystals in Type-0 wipe the memories of the dead from the minds of living beings. The last one being summoning (sort of) and we'll get to why in right now.

Eidolons
Eidolons are the names given to "Summons" in this universe who were created by the deity "Etro". While the summons in FFXIII and Type-0 aren't the same, Type-0 reveals that Eidolons can have multiple versions of themselves designated into different "classes". Eidolons are immortal beings, whose spirits lie within crystals known as "Eidoliths" and shall remain alive as long as the Eidolith remains in tact. These beasts are native to Valhalla and are able to traverse through the mortal world by way of Etro's gate.

When a person wishes to summon an Eidolon, the exchange of their life is required which inflicts death upon the physical body with the soul/phantoma remaining. Etro's Gate proceeds to open to allow this soul to pass through in exchange for the Eidolon, the soul goes in, the Eidolon comes out. This is how the summoning process normally works. The main cast of both FFXIII and Type-0 have shown to be exceptions to this rule however. One other type of summon is known as an "Incarnate summon" which basically fuses the Soul with the Eidolon for an extreme power boost, this however also requires to forfeit one's own life.

Lastly there are more powerful versions of these Eidolons called "Verboten Eidolons" which only L'Cie can summon. There are 4 of them known in existence, those being "Alexander", "Ramuh", "Leviathan", and the "Knights of the Round". However, they take 6 hours of preparation and 1000s of sacrifices of Phantoma to summon, and it forces the l'Cie into crystal stasis/incapacitation upon completion

Alexander, Ramuh, Leviathan, and Knights of The Round are classic FF summons which grant Holy Manipulation, Electricity and Pain Manipulation, and Water Manipulation. As for Knights of the Round. They are a more rare summon that have only appeared in a handful of games, most notably Final Fantasy 7 who are 3-B, Likely 2-A. However, out of these Verboten Eidolons. Only Alexander appears on screen. So it's not easy to assume they are the same. However this should grant possible Spatial Manipulation.

There exists one other Eidolon, one that is exclusive to a certain character which we'll introduce right now.

Arecia Al-Rashia
A very important supporting character in the story who acts as Class Zero's "Mother" figure. She assists them during missions in a variety of ways and effectively acts as an outside force of nature protecting them, as seen when Cinque was shot in the head, but thanks to Arecia's power, she avoided death of her physical body. A couple of things Arecia has been shown to do include being able to Revive Class Zero upon Death/Incapacitation, and is able to summon Bahamut Zero without her life being expended, an Eidolon stated to be even stronger than Bahamut. There are a few other things that she does, but we'll get to that later. For now one last thing that should be known about her as that she in reality is a Fal'Cie and servant of the deity Fal'Cie "Pulse". An important figure in the cosmology and especially the "Lightning Trilogy", as "Pulse" was the one who turned the FFXIII party into L'Cie. Arecia was also the one who created Orience's 4 Crystals, and is described as a Higher-Being capable of producing Fal'Cie. This would put Arecia slightly below with the likes of Pulse, Lindzei, Etro, and Bhunivelze, which would still grant her a 2-A rating. Her true purpose is to find a way to "The Unseen Realm" by opening Etro's Gate. There are two ways to open Etro's Gate, by utilizing so many souls that it forces the gate open or Agito's power "Agito" is a prophesied messiah said to appear during an event known as "Tempus Finis", which we'll go into now.

Tempus Finis, The Judge, and Agito
"When nine and nine meet nine, the depths of reason shall stir. When the seal of creation is broken, a voice like thunder shall sound, and thou shall know...we have arrived". What this quote means is that when one of the four nations conquers the other 3, Tempus Finis commences ( which is basically the apocalypse). When this happens, creatures known as the Rursus appear and commit mass murder across the world. The one above all these creatures is known as "The Rursan Arbiter" a person chosen by the "Rursus Crystal" to be come a Judge. The Judge's purpose is to determine whether "Agito" has appeared in the world. Should the judge deem not, the world will end. The Judge takes refuge in a place known as Pandemonium, which is described as a Void like space where only the chosen may enter. Those chosen to enter this land endure a gauntlet of Rursus in their path as well as complete imposing series of tasks by the Judge. Should someone fail that task, instantaneous death is imposed by the Judge forcefully. However the Judge can force beings to fail their tasks regardless if they've actually completed them, resulting in instant death. This Judge has shown to be immune to the magic of the Dominon Crystals. Due to the Crystal Mythology being one in the same, this would give The Rursan Arbiter resistance to the effects of "The Crystals".

In the Final Battle against the Rursan Arbier, Class Zero eventually all fall in battle to the Judge and have their phantoma absorbed. However, the two characters Rem and Machina bestowed all of them with their phantoma. Allowing Class Zero to come back to life and defeat the Rurusan Arbiter by extracting all of his Phantoma. This would grant the following: Resurrection (on a High-Godly scale), Reactive Evolution, Invulnerability Negation, Resistance Negation, and Multiple Selves (Type 2). As well as granting Immortality (Type 6) for the Soul.

For the Judge this would grant added Death Manipulation.

The Akashic Records, The Spiral, and The World of Orience
"When Nine and Nine Meet Nine. Tempus Finis shall be willed upon them. For without the Agito, their world called Orience must persist in it's spiral". What this means is that, the world of Orience is caught within a continuous loop, or a "Spiral" as they put it. However this affects more than just a single world, the "Spiral" itself is stated to be a Multi Dimensional structure with entire worlds and beings being birthed from it among several possibilities

"Mysterious and graceful, she specializes in ice magic, one of several possibilities among the multidimensional space-time that Arecia manages to capture." -Translation by ZeroNegativ00

Machina also mentions by name that they've had to endure "The trials of countless worlds" which implies that the dimensions are equal to alternate universes. Though to add onto "Countless", Tiz mentions the statement of the worlds reaching Infinite. While "Countless" is 2-B, considering the statement of Infinite have been shown as well, and FF has a history of having multiple 2-A structures (The Void, The Farplane (Brave Exvius), and World of FF). This in turn would make "The Spiral" yet another 2-A structure that adds onto Final Fantasy's overall cosmology. Additionally since "Chaos" is Omnipresent across all timelines and dimensions, which extends to the spiral. This would upgrade the range of all wielders of "Chaos" from Interdimensional to 2-A. Furthermore Magic from all of the classic FF games (1-6) have 2-A range scaling from magic, so this would apply to XIII and Type-0.

In addition, Dr Arecia controls and manipulates this spiral in effort to start and restart cycles to achieve her plans of opening Etro's Gate. Should "Agito" fail to appear during the time of Tempus Finis or if Class Zero fall on their journey, this Spiral resets for another cycle. Which would grant Causality Manipulation on a 2-A scale which can work on Type 4 Acasuals. Before the events of Type 0, there have been a total of 600,104,971 cycles. During the events of the Main game of Type-0 however, this 600,104,972nd cycle is stated to be different from the others, special in fact. For the first time ever, Class Zero had shown glimpses of defying what is established by the Will of the Crystals. Meaning Class Zero are able to break out of Fal'Cie control. However, there is one power greater than that of the Fal'Cie's control over the world and it's people. It is not a being, but an object.

In the climax of the story. It's revealed to Class Zero that all that they done, and everything that has happened in their reality was determined by a Tome named the "Akashic Records". Based upon what is written within it, this tome has the power to overwrite all aspects of Orience's reality, extending to every single event and action taken by characters in the world. Arecia however, had given Class Zero freedom of this binding. In which Class Zero's actions and power alone passively "Writes the Final Pages of the Records themselves", this process was actively being described as "Choosing their own endings" and the ending of the records themselves.

Surprisingly even this is also shown in FFXIII, all be it much more subtle. The words and language of the Goddess Etro, are inscribed onto various things native to Valhalla which are known as "Etro's Script". This includes the Eidolith's, and even writing on the Eidolon's themselves as well as "Time Gates". As language in this cosmology was not something humans can naturally do, but rather a tool granted to people by the gods themselves. It's also worth noting that events that happened during the creation of the world are also recorded by "authors" as well.

While I'm not 100% certain, I believe this may qualify for Text Manipulation and Plot Manipulation for Class Zero.

Overall Gained Haxes and Resistances
The Blessing/Abilities and Resistances of The Crystals

Passive Fate Manipulation for the Dominion Crystals and Resistance to it for Class Zero (Class Zero has showed to be at odds with the Will of the Crystals who as tied to Fal'Cie are able to control the destiny of living beings)

Data Manipulation (Magic is synced with Relics which are artifacts born from the crystal used for data input)

Weapon Creation (Can call and materialize their weapons out of thin air)

Resistance to Deconstruction (Class Zero Cadets were able to utilize their attacks against Qun'Mi and defeat her despite her Forcefields being active)

Resistance to Void Manipulation and Probability Manipulation (Able to enter into the land of Pandaemonium. Which is described as a Void like space, despite the probability of success being infinitesimal.

Removal of Summoning Weakness for regular Eidolons (While summoning expending the user's lifeforce is a legitimate weakness. The characters from Class Zero are exempt from this weakness, and only shown to die due to game mechanics. There are multiple scenes were Class Zero have shown to summon Eidolon's just fine, without their lifeforce being expended. This weakness still applies to Verboton Eidolons however, which only L'Cie can perform.)

Resurrection and Healing (Dr Arecia Al-Rashia assists Class Zero on their missions and has shown to be able to revive them to full health upon death/incapacitation)

Causality Manipulation (Should Class Zero fall in battle, Arecia will reset the Spiral for another cycle to undo previous events)

Resistance to Immortality Negation and Regeneration Negation (Types 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8 and High-Godly): Class Zero are capable of withstanding hits from numerous foes blessed by The Crystals.

Passive Text Manipulation and Plot Manipulation + Resistance to it for Class Zero (The Akashic Records is a Legendary tome which controls and govern all aspects of every reality of the spiral by what's written in it. Dr Arecia freed Class Zero from these bindings, allowing their actions to "Write the Final Pages" of the records themselves with the ability to "choose their own endings")

Summoning (For Verboten Eidolons which include Holy Manipulation (via Alexander), Electricity Manipulation and Pain Manipulation (via Ramuh), Water Manipulation (via Leviathan), and possibly Spatial Manipulation (via Knights of the Round. While the Knights of the Round have appeared in previous FF games such as FF7, it's unknown if it's the same one as they never appear on screen), and Bahamut Zero (A Dr Arecia exclusive summon who is stated to be even stronger than regular Bahamut). However, due to how the summoning process works this wouldn't be doable under normal circumstances.

Technology Manipulation (Scaled from Qun'Mi's abilities as a L'Cie who was able to restore and power up machinery)

Deconstruction (Scaled from Quin'Mi's abilities as a L'Cie who was able to create a forcefield that can do this.

Resurrection (High-Godly), Reactive Evolution, Invulnerability Negation, Resistance Negation, and Multiple Selves (Type 2; All of Class Zero were individually bestowed with both Rem and Machina's phantoma, which allowed all of Class Zero to come back in spite of having their own Phantoma's destroyed. In this state, this allowed Class Zero to damage and kill Cid when Class Zero's magic proved ineffective against him before)

Additions + Changes to Unseen Chaos
This covers things regarding things "Chaos" can do that did not cover in the previous revision as it was too long already.

What scales back to FFXIII?
Deconstruction and Technology Manipulation (Through Qun Mi's L'Cie abilities)
Immortality Types 1 and 2 (Scaled from L'Cie such as Qun'Mi who have these immortalities)
2-A Range with both Magic and Chaos
Immortality Negation and Regeneration Negation + Resistance to it (All Types and High-Godly; Able to kill the Fal'Cie Orphan whose immortality is upscaled from L'Cie who are not able to age unless they enter crystal stasis and are able to remain alive after fatal injuries, such as Quin'Mi who was fused to the land after being caught in the Ultima Bomb at Lorica. Killing Orphan also effectively destroyed it's Heart and Soul and Fal'Cie are tied to The Crystals who grant these immortalities and regeneration abilities)
The Blessing/Abilities of The Crystals (L'Cies are implanted with Crystal Shards somewhere on their bodies. If the Crystals share the same mythology as the classic games. This means the abilities of the Crystals should be granted to them. Even though the characters from FFXIII aside from Snow lose their L'Cie status, they still retain the Crystal Power as Crystal Energy mixed into the soil of the land. Allowing characters to now have Inner Crystal Power). Light's Resistance to Unseen Chaos should also go into her L'Cie key. As those events happen before she becomes Etro's Knight.

Lightning's New Profile

This will detail how some of the changes will look on the FFXIII cast. Also listed in here are new haxes with scans that I didn't get to in the last revision due to it's length.

Agree: 5 (Eseseso, DarkDragonMedeus, ZeroNegativ00, LordGriffin1000 (Disagrees on layered incorporeality), HST_Master)

Looks great to me!

Excellent work, especially on the sandboxes!

Not sure about what to do with Gilgamesh's tier though.

Btw are you gonna clean up the keys on Ace's page? Because the tier section has 2 keys but everything else has 4 keys.

Neat.

Actually, looking at the Unseen Chaos sandbox, how exactly is the Matter Manipulation Sub-Atomic when it just says that Chaos and the usage of such can "create raw matter"?

Bump.

Btw, are the 5-B people for Type-0 ever going to get an actual justification for 5-B? Since right now nothing on the profile explains how they scale to 5-B or what 5-B AP value they scale to.

in fact it would even be quantum level, considering that snow can create gravitons just by walking (particles that only exist in quantum mechanics)

Do you have a scan for this? This is needed since they were accepted to be the same years back. Also Chaos is not apart of Graviton Ore

This shouldn't be an ability for Class Zero

I think the fate manipulation is moreso them forcing L'Cie to follow a task or they get turned into crystal (or whatever the equivalent of it in Type 0 is), and not directly changing fate
While yes it isn't Class Zero doing it directly, it's still being done for their benefit (sort of) by their mother figure. There are other verses that use this logic as well.

L'Cie's turning into Crystal after completing a focus is still the same across Type-0

The thing is, the cast Type-0 (Excluding Rem and Machina) don't become L'Cie at all unless you count Rem and Machina passing on their Phantoma to each member.

Other verses don't have this, unless its type 8 immortality or if the character doing it is their companion they use in combat, like a blade from Xenoblade 2 or something. In this case it shouldn't count

I am only familiar with 13, but what does this mean for them exactly?

Yes they do. The case of Arecia resetting the spiral is more akin to Xenoblade 1 as a example. Shulk is protected by something called "The Passage of Fate" and while it's not him directly using it, he benefits from it as Alvis' chosen one and Alvis is the one who uses the POF to protect Shulk (it's not until Monado 3 where Shulk directly takes control over it, but has it in his Monado I key). It's almost the same thing here, Arecia resets the Spiral to undo previous events to achieve her plans and undo the deaths of her kids

Basically that Fal'Cie control extends to more than just L'Cie as it can control ordinary beings as well. The concept surrounding L'Cie's are the same in Type-0 just slightly expanded upon. In Type-0, L'Cie's can pass on their L'Cie status and power to other people. Which is how Machina became one.

graviton core is made of graviton obviously, in the same way that gold ore is made of the element gold, an atomic particle, and as I said previously gravitons only exist in quantum physics so there is no other way for gravitons core to be related to other scientific formulas

it is literally mentioned that class zero is a manifestation of destiny itself

It's not even about appearance, unlike the other Gilgamesh who is just an interdimensional traveler, Gilgamesh Ashur has a life of his own in Type-0, being the king of Lorica and having spent his childhood there until he became a L'Cie

Well, apart from Gilgamesh, I agree with everything.

And besides, regarding the issue of 5-B, I also don't have any concrete results, but you can use a scale (and I don't know what level it would be)

At the beginning of the game, a Ultima bomb is dropped on Lorica, and it is said that this bomb could erase an entire continent of Orience.

In Milites the empire built weapons of war with the power of 8 Ultima bombs

and a standard Bahamut is said to be superior to any weapon of war ever made

Destroying 8 continents is barely above 6 petatons (High 6-A).

Summoning a bahamut is something that an ordinary cadet does

class zero (mid-game, before becoming l'cie) can summon Bahamut Zero who can use Teraflare, if one megaflare = 8 Ultima bomb, then 1 Teraflare = 1000 Gigaflare > 1 Gigaflare = 1000 megaflare > 1 megaflare = 8 Ultima bomb ( if the franchise really uses these terms literally)

which could be real because unlike a Bahamut that only needs one person, to summon a mid-level eidolon you need to sacrifice thousands of people
