I think the copies of the guild and people have something to do with the God Dragon. The only other time we've ever gotten such close yet warped versions of the main cast was when they went to Edolas. Since the God Dragon has stuff to do with Yggdrasil, my theory is that they came from different "branches" or something. This mainly comes from how in GoW you can get to other Realms by traveling through Yggdrasil and in the OG myth, the Realms were all on different areas on Yggdrasil.

This is a cool theory. I hope that this chapter is actually somehow connected to the main plot, because otherwise it just doesn't fit into the narrative.
Still though, not the biggest fan of this chapter, mostly due to the whole randomness/filler feel to it. I did like that Hiro touched a bit on the "romance" theme, albeit in his weird kinky way.

They're really going out of their way to develop the romances in this sequel, it took Gray talking to an alternate Juvia to move his love along, also now that the real Juvia is back, that means Touka is near, and therefore Natsu and Lucy plus Touka Drama hopefully

I find it a bit odd just how much time Mashima is dedicating to the romantic aspects of the series. I have no problem with it at all, but it's still pretty jarring compared to classic FT

Honestly didn't expect the sequel to be concentrated on romance. I do like it though and I'm glad Hiro is finally adressing it. Took him, like, the whole series + sequel to get to this point.
Also, I still want an explanation on why Fairy Nail consists of alternate fairy tail characters. Other than that, I do honestly enjoy Fairy Nail. Hope the other relationships will also get a "push", like Gruvia did.

Am I the only one who feels like Natsu has been quite out of character in the sequel? He is too obnoxious, and doesn't take the fact, that he is killing dragons(chapter 1 or 2?) or hurting his own teammates, seriously. I get that it's done as a gag, but it is getting annoying. I hope this will be adressed.
