Well it's not listed as causality manip.

Also causality manip tends to get you some more immediately powerful results, things like reversing causality and erasing people.

I can't do any of that.

So calling it passive causality manip gives the impression that it can do more esoteric stuff than it actually can.

Acausal is more of a passive defensive thing than something that causes causes impressive causality hax.
