Everybody Wants to Rule the World 5: Shipping Ruins my Thread Titles (thread 9)

"My Master had told me something very important once, a relationship is like creating a spell, it takes a lot of time, attention and work ... and in the end, you only know if the result has succeeded by trying", I say .

"I ... now I don't feel a romantic interest for you, but maybe ... in time, I'll be able to do it ... if you'll make me appreciate your person," I continue, holding my hand out to Rachel.

"We can start as friends ... and see if this will change over time," I propose.
 
Beerko bear hugs Luminaris, basically smothering him. "Aaaww~! You do -hic- care about me Luuuummiii~!" She says happily, with the same drunken grin on her face.
 
Rachel gives a surprise look to Gondlir

"Gondlir I..."

Rachel than put away its hand from Gondlir's

"I really want that to happen, but i don't want you to feel obligated to be with me. I agree that relationship takes time, but... while i still love you, i want both of us to be happy in it"

Rachel says as it looks into the sky
 
"I don't feel obligated ... I want to do it because it's my choice," I say, placing a hand on her shoulder and giving her a slight smile.

"Ok, we can try that. But for now, i guess that we are friends"

@New Delhi hobos

Earthpulse Luminaris finds that the soldiers don't know of any plans that are interesting to him and that their knowledge of higher-ups only extends to those that are currently in New Delhi and those of similar ranks from previous posts.

Alexander finds the spot where the demon appeared. The place was once a mall and some Indian and ACF soldiers can be seen there just like in the rest of the city.

The soldier answers to Magnus that they're here to help out civilians. He doesn't seem suprised by the clones and the dragon being there.

There are no more demons in New Delhi.

@Ahmedabad hobos

Sonar and Magnus kill their demons and Tset slaughters the remaining ones. Sonar gives the two a nod before teleporting to the next location. It seems there are less demons in this city than there were in New Delhi.

@House hobos

Diustre had prepared some tea that he and Magnus then enjoyed. He also explained some of the basics of working for Heteka to Magnus.
 
Before noticing that the sheer range of my senses are rather lacking, I make sure to un-twist the nearby space.

Afterwards, I simply start wandering around looking for more of those beasts.

The clones at the Bunker help help the civilians.

Meanwhile, the other 10 teleport each ot a major city in India, to search for demons.

The clone follows Sonar's example and starts hunting down more demons.

While in a somewhat sfw minute, Nanaya4 asks Koharu:

"Hey, random question. Are you into tentacles?"
 
The Bar Luminaris looks very surprised at this, not knowing how to react, he allows Beerko to continue hugging him.

"What am I supposed to do in this situation?" He thinks.

The Temple Luminaris decides to modify the minds of the soldiers a slight amount, making it that they will no longer be willing to work with the ACF in any capacity and adding a measure that will inform Luminaris if the ACF has forced them to. He then returns them to the world, placing them in a different Indian city, he strips them of their memories of himself and Alexander.

The New Delhi Luminaris investigates the minds of any higher ups he can find as he flies across the city, eventually to the location the big demon appeared in.

Unknown location 01:00 GMT

A young woman with long black hair and pale skin is sitting inside an abandoned warehouse. Next to her hovers a small drone with one eye.

"You're being less reckless than normal." the drone says.

"I'm so close. But it's when you're close to accomplishing your goals that you must be most careful."

"And?" the drone further inquires.

"And I promised, I promised him I will always try to get out alive of any situation."

"But you're eager to move on with the plan." the drone comments.

"I am, but I don't regret my promise and I never will."

The woman takes out a pendant and opens it. She looks at the picture inside for a while and the drone silently hovers next to her.

"And what about those people with powers? They seem to have become stronger." it then asks after a while.

"It's quite simple. If they get in my way, I'll crush them."

"But what if-"

"No what ifs! I can't afford to let myself be distracted by trivial matters."

"Would you really call it trivial?"

"... They're nothing special."

The drone remains silent.

"So what about those Vex teleporters? Have you finished analysing them?"

"almost."

"That brings me back. Remember when we were stuck in that world engine of theirs? If only this universe didn't cut off most off my connection to the Light..."

"Well the Light has never been the deciding factor for when you get out of difficult situations." the drone replies.

"Yes, but it's not only my Light that has weakened. It's almost as if this universe was designed for specific purposes."

"Oh btw have you noticed? Someone seems to be utilizing the Sword Logic on this planet." the drone says changing the subject.

"Yes, but their power is nothing impressive."

"I've finished the analysis."

"I see. Almost there."

Koharu takes a minute to think before responding

"Kinda, yeah. Why, is it weird?"

Tset hears gunfire and when he reaches the place where the sound is scoming from he sees ACF soldiers with large guns on armored cars fighting off demons. Even though they can damage the demons they're slowly being pushed back.

Magnus quickly finds seven demons inside a train station.

@Moon hobos

As the illusions get closer some of the white demons eyes snap towards them and claws and tendrils slash at them.

@New Delhi hobos

Luminaris finds out that the ACF has not come to New Delhi with ulterior motives and that it's an emergency rescue operation. Of course they're investigating the what has happened, but that's part of their job too.

@Over

The ten clones find that in some cities there are still demons fighting the Indian army and the ACF.
 
Grimm turns to the teen and asks "Do you know of any safe places here? Like a bunker that you go to in case of something like this?" as he asks his head again ***** to the side.

I take a step forward with Bakushukuchi, but notice more than a few flaws in it's execution and general function. Ironing those out rather quickly, I head at the demons at vastly higher speeds than it would've normally allowed, rapidly sending out various dynamic illusions of myself.

The New Delhi Luminaris decides to head to other Indian cities to investigate, he uses his domain to find the most demon infested one and teleports there.

Luminaris has the Moon folk heal themselves.

The Temple Luminaris continues work on Elementals, when he is done, he gets to work on producing Philosopher's Stones.
