Fire does not counter his elemental intangibility. Especialy woth precognition allowing him to dodge the most of it
 
How do you dodge being burnt by the power of the sun? It's an area of effect and you might as well be in the oven. If he turns to his mocchi form he's gonna get overcooked. Precog or not you are not dodging constant damage. Especially the higher Escanor gets.

It does. Katakuri doesn't take damage from regular attacks because moti can't be destroyed by them. If you can destroy moti, you can damage katakuri. Heat can definatly vaporize it
 
dude... by that logic aokiji should be long dead because he was broken into several pieces, hit so much that he became a mist and faced with lava
 
Katakuri's Regenerationn is only high-mid meaning he can not regenerate if he gets vaporized. And btw how can Katakuri damage a character with large country level durability without durability negation?
 
he can outlast him and stay out of the range of sunshine thanks to precognition and it only having a few houndreds of meters of range
 
Katakuri's attacks will have a hard time doing much to Escanor because of the gap in AP (mid-morning Escanor is very high-end 6-B while Katakuri (after the upgrade happens) is only scaling to above baseline). And OP also included late morning Escanor (who is much greater than 183 teratons), so unless Katakuri somehow manages to take out Escanor before it gets closer to noon he's gonna be dealing with a High 6-B monster that he probably won't even be able to damage. Meanwhile Escanor has huge AoE with Sunshine that can vaporize Katakuri.

Didnt think it was going to be this much of a stomp tbh thought Kata was at least going to be able to compete with him somewhat. Should've I changed it to Early Morning instead? hm
 
Grace period started when SnowFlame556 commented, so in 22 hours if nothing drastic has changed the thread can be closed and the match added to the profiles.
 
The thread was closed and Escanor won but the thread is open again for some reason and Escanors win was removed from his page.
