Armstrong doesn't have High Regen? he has High-Low, likely Mid Regen so at best he can regen from decapitation, however Armstrong's only shown feats are High low, the likely mid is based on statements

Stonewall heat Resistance which scales to his internals which is where the nanomachines are. Wouldn't even matter anyway as Natsu has prefect control over his heat so he can just choose not to affect himself with his heat, It's why his and Happy's clothes don't burn when everyone else's get burnt away along with the arena without actually burning even normal humans despite them walking on molten rock.
