If you try to kill Blaidd before doing Ranni's quest before she kills the Two Fingers, Blaidd will say you're strong but say theres no use in trying to harm a shadow, and the next time you rest at a Grace, Blaidd's back good as new.

Seems like Shadows are able to come back as many times as they die unless something happens to their Empyreans Two Fingers. Granted something might've happened to Marika's already, so if he did resurrection it would be a former ability.

I'm inclined to believe this, especially since Gurranq can survive after Maliketh's death. Althoguh, it's hard to tell whether or not this is due to his nature as a shadow or the twisted-time nature of Farum Azula.
 
Honestly with how much of this stuff just shows up periodically, I'm REALLY leaning towards the idea of making a group physio page for a bunch of the races in ER. Stuff like the Shaman, Numen, Hornsent, Misbegotten, Omen, Nox, Demi-Humans, Albinaurics, Shadows, Fingers, etc., all have enough unique abilities to where it's a chore to write them all out individually for profiles. Hell, I'd also probably extend this to groups with similar powers like the Tarnished, demigods, gods (possibly), outer gods, Nightfarers, and Nightlords too.
 
I looked a bit at Godwyn's page, and I think he needs to have a few things added.
  • Alive
    • Damage Boost?
      • Basically something to indicate that Electrify Armament allows one to channel electricty into weapons as a buff.
    • Maybe listing out the Dragon Cult incantations & Skills in his abilities section? If the Godwyn Knights can do it, I have minimal reason to believe he couldn't.
  • Prince of Death
    • Power Bestowment / Status Effect Resistance (Wielding chunks of his flesh can somehow make one more resistant to Death Blight)
    • Resistance to Soul Manipulation (Straight-up just doesn't have a soul anymore to manipulate.)
    • Type 7 (Undead) Immortality (I really don't need to explain this.)
    • Access to Rancorcall
    • Corruption? (Is kinda infecting the roots of the Erdtree like cancer)
    • Ressurection (Is the primary force of the ressurection of Those Who Live In Death)
    • Pretty much any ability that's needed to explain why tree roots erupt from those infected with Death Blight?

All this probably should be added, although I think some of it is already given to him under deathblight.

If you look at any Elden Ring page you're gonna notice about two dozen things that are missing at least. I hope once the scaling blog is done to go through all pre-existing profiles and rework them. Only probably is I'm anal about fixing stuff up once then never touching it again which is slow lol.
 
I'm on high alert for the Nightreign Futurepress strategy guide. If you guys find it send it my way, or if you're buying it lmk so we can go through it.

Personally I've been making the recluse page, but I think Duchess is fair game. Only issue is though that to do them, we REALLY need the Tarnished page done. Half of their kit goes to them anyways, so the profiles will end up half baked without that work done.

I see, the Tarnished page would definitely be one of the most extensive profiles to make. So is there anyone currently working on the Tarnished's profile?

If you mean working towards it? Yeah, I am. But there's about a dozen other things that gotta happen. I gotta finish actual speed and LS calcs for the series, outline scaling and power progression, go through every item for lore and abilities, do profiles for EVERY spirit ash (cause that shit is not gonna fit on their page alone), go check and tidy up other pages like the magic and cosmology page, AND THEN I can sit down and do the Tarnished page.

The Tarnished is deadass gonna be the size of the Raiden page if you've seen that, but spread out across over two dozen profiles and pages.

Are you doing all of that by yourself? Cause what your describing seems like it would take at least 3-5 supporters do all of that.

I have help, mostly Qawsedf and Latin, but Qaw is an administrator with more important things to deal with, and Latin does not have a proper wiki account and mostly helps with pulling game data for calcs when he can. So that leaves me.

And frankly, for as slow as it is. Don't know if I'd have it any other way. It's hard to find other people willing to put in quality work. Shit tends to come out half-baked.
