I leveled up my dexterity and I mostly just tried to stay under him, I lured him to Alexander and the mimic tear as they are more tanky than you, and just attacked from below.
If you want to go beneath him, try lure him to your partners, and then circle around him to make sure he doesn't notice you

Honestly he was super tanky at first, but breaking that splint by his foot opens up a weak spot that deals pretty great damage, even with Alaxander there. Either that or my Strength was just that cracked out.
